Responsibilities

• Specification, development, verification and release of Software functions in coordination with project leaders, other development departments and customers
• Definition of the system architecture for new functions and development of models and tools used for testing the functions
• Coordination with the project managers and software development departments for the integration of the new functions
• Support of application engineers during the commissioning of the developed functions at the test bench and in the field
• Support the project management for the definition of the system architecture: software, sensor system and actuating elements
• Documentation of the achieved development content and contribute to continuous improvement of processes, toolchains and the establishment and maintenance of the development and test infrastructure

Requirements

• Successfully completed engineering studies in the field of automotive engineering, mechatronics, electronical engineering or mechanical engineering
• Educational background in Classical and Advanced Control Systems as well as system modeling are required, embedded software engineering and signal processing are a plus
• Experience in the field of control system development and modeling of physical processes and sequences is required, experience with combustion engines is a major advantage
• Fluency in English, knowledge in French and/or in German is a plus
• Very good knowledge with a simulation software, good knowledge of Matlab/Simulink, Python and C, knowledge with a calibration, diagnostic and validation software as well as an analysis software is a plus
• Independent, inquisitive mindset with strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work in a team
