In the second episode of our Upload video magazine we start with a visit to the stadium in Dortmund. Here an LG 1550 has lifted the steel girders of the stadium roof. Klaus Huberle tells us the history of lattice boom cranes and what is so special about them in an interview. Afterwards we continue with the next interview with Christoph Behmüller. The head of our training centre in Ehingen has not yet given up the dream of an international crane operators licence. The European crane operators license is already an important step on this long road. From theory to practice: the characteristics of our lattice boom cranes were already explained at the beginning of the movie. The LG 1750 is now allowed to go and lift a huge glass roof during shipbuilding in Papenburg. At the end of the second issue, the route our cranes take to the customer is examined in more detail. In the interview, topics such as the worldwide transport situation, customs regulations and also trade disputes are discussed.

First, we visit the port of Rostock. It is exciting to see how our LTM 11200-9.1 and LG 1750 together set the top of the mast during the erection of the gigantic TCC 78000. The LTM 1750-9.1 is also strong, and now even stronger. An 800 t upgrade was given to it, which leads to a massive increase in load capacity. 70,000 load capacity tables of the crane were recalculated for this. Among other things, the "finite element method" was used to recalculate the LTM 1750-9.1. But what stands behind this technical term? You can find the answer in the "Simply explained" category. Then we go on the road: terms like diesel scandal, CO2 emissions and climate protection are very present in our everyday life. What does this mean for our mobile cranes? They also have to meet certain standards, and how clean they actually are we discover in the movie. Towards the end of the video magazine, we see how the "V-Frame" ballast guidance system on the LR 11000 performs in practice during a bridge operation in Switzerland.
