Liduro Power Port (LPO) tested for peak performance

The mobile energy storage LPO 80 has been tested in the field for over a year now. On large construction sites, as well as in short-term or over-night operation, tower and mobile cranes powered by the LPO have delivered peak performance. The LPO fulfills the demands of a wide range of machines, working in different modes – be it in an isolated grid or upon connection to small networks.

One heart and one soul

Liebherr is proud to announce its collaboration with AYRO, the French industrial start-up that recently successfully equipped the Canopée vessel with four OceanWings®, making it the first hybrid industrial cargo ship powered by wind.

Slewing bearings, gearboxes, electric motors, as well as control and power electronics by Liebherr work together as a “green” wind propulsion system. The turnkey plug-and-play solution flexibly adapts to any application.

Thrilling developments in space exploration!

We're proud to be part of the advancing exploration of the universe in the world's largest antenna project by mtex antenna technology. In it, Liebherr-Components will be one of the key partners for the supply of slewing bearings, gear rings and drives.

The next-generation very large array (ngVLA) telescopes are among the most productive ground-based astronomical facilities worldwide. At the heart of those telescope antennas will be three-row roller-bearings with a diameter of three metres and drives - both essential for the azimuth adjustment of the antennas. Additionally, our gear rings will work in tandem with the drives to facilitate elevation adjustments, ensuring precise control and positioning.
