Riga-Mainz completes impressive job with trio of powerful Liebherr cranes

Riga-Mainz produced an impressive performance in a demanding crane and heavy load job involving the installation of a bridge in Essen during November. A steel bridge weighing 418 tonnes and measuring around 50 metres in length had to be positioned over a section of railway track. Christmas tree erected for luxury hotel in St. Moritz

It made a nice change for Swiss construction contractor Hartmann and its Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 mobile crane. At the end of November, the 60-tonne crane erected a 12-metre Christmas tree in front of the Badrutt’s Palace luxury hotel in St. Moritz. The three tonne fir tree with Christmas decorations creates a festive highlight in the entrance of the 5 star hotel. Find out more

Liebherr NC-B top-slewing cranes in action

First Liebherr LRT rough-terrain cranes delivered

Wasel GmbH Schwerlastlogistik accepted two rough-terrain cranes of the new LRT series from the Liebherr plant in Ehingen at the end of November. With the LRT 1090-2.1 and the LRT 1100-2.1, the company now has the first machines of this new series. The company primarily plans to deploy both rough-terrain cranes in opencast mining as well as on major construction sites with long periods of use. Find out more

Liebherr is partner for the construction of Europe's biggest demolition excavator

The Swiss construction company, Aregger AG, chose Liebherr Machines Bulle S.A (Switzerland) as its partner for the construction of a new demolition excavator. With an operating weight of up to 300 tonnes, the new A-Rex M9300 is currently Europe's biggest demolition excavator. Among its key components are not only elements from two Liebherr mining excavators, but also the specially developed hydraulic pumps that elevate this giant into a superior performance class.
