Sönke Jordt expands range of services with a Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2 mobile crane

North German crane and heavy haulage contractor Sönke Jordt GmbH & Co. KFG has taken delivery of a new Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2 mobile crane. Liebherr mobile cranes erect monument to the “Tailor of Ulm”

To celebrate the 250th anniversary of his birth, a prominent monument has been erected to aviation pioneer Albrecht Ludwig Berblinger. Using two Liebherr mobile cranes, Ulm-based crane and heavy haulage contractor Rieger & Moser GmbH & Co. KG erected a walk-in spiral staircase tower, whose appearance is reminiscent of the “Tailor of Ulm’s” flying machine. The Berblinger Tower is now positioned at precisely the point from where Berblinger attempted to fly over the River Danube in 1811. Find out more

Remote Service App

Liebherr expands its digital product portfolio for crawler cranes, deep foundation equipment and maritime cranes with the development of a Remote Service tool. This improves assistance through visual information and so leads to faster and easier troubleshooting. Canadian company Eagle Builders celebrates 20 years with new mobile crane LTM 1250-5.1

Canadian construction company Eagle Builders is specializing in the design, engineering, fabrication and building of precast concrete structures. It´s subsidiary Quickline Crane is serving all the heavy lift requirements for the parent company. As project requirements are getting more complex and higher load capacities are demanded, the company has purchased a Liebherr mobile crane LTM 1250-5.1. The first ever LTM 1110-5.1 goes to Spain – Grúas Roxu takes delivery of new Liebherr 110 tonne crane

Spanish crane and heavy haulage contractor Grúas Roxu took delivery of the first ever Liebherr LTM 1110-5.1 mobile crane in May. Liebherr unveiled a prototype of its new crane model at the Bauma 2019 in Munich. The concept and performance data impressed Grúas Roxu so much that the company signed an order for two LTM 1110-5.1 cranes before leaving the trade show. Find out more

The sound of silence: Liebherr mobile construction crane in electric operation

Earlier this year, the Radeberg-based company Krandienst Kunze e.K. sent its Liebherr MK 88 Plus mobile construction crane to Dresden’s old town district to replace elements of the extensive glass roof of a shopping centre there. The conditions near Dresden’s Frauenkirche church: a narrow street, tricky lifts out of the atrium over a thirty-metre-high row of buildings and a considerable residential density. A second LTM 1090-4.2 within two years – Schwientek takes delivery of new Liebherr mobile crane

Mobile crane and recovery contractor Schwientek & Sohn based in Leverkusen has taken delivery of a new Liebherr LTM 1090-4.2 mobile crane. It was handed over in May this year at the Liebherr plant in Ehingen. This is the second crane of this model the company has bought within two years. The main criteria behind the purchase included the crane’s great flexibility and economy – the 4-axle crane has a 60 metre telescopic boom and can be driven on public roads with either a twelve or a ten tonne axle load. This version delivers major benefits for road licensing and route approval procedures. Find out more

Straight from the crane factory to a job in a wind farm

Sommer Kranverleih GmbH based in Bremen has taken delivery of a new Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 mobile crane. For its first job, the new crane was driven straight from the manufacturing plant in Ehingen to the “Vier Berge” Wind Farm in Saxony-Anhalt. Once there, it installed cables for bracing concrete towers at a hook height of 100 metres. Find out more
