Industrial tent structure moved on crane hooks

Tyrol, a popular destination for mountain and other hikers, was recently the scene of a very special trip – an industrial tent structure weighing over 40 tonnes and spanning an area of around 1,400 square metres “walked” around 100 metres in just a few hours. A large assembly hall was moved to its new location in several stages on the hook blocks of three LTM mobile cranes. Find out more

Challenge – Saller’s Liebherr cranes complete difficult bridge hoist at night

Kran Saller GmbH, based in Deggendorf in Bavaria, positioned a component for a pedestrian bridge over a railway track weighing over 60 tonnes using an extraordinary tandem hoist and a massive logistical effort. The difficulty was that the cranes had to be set up for the night job in Munich very close to each other and moved even closer whilst hoisting the load into position. Find out more

Four Liebherr Board Offshore Cranes for oil platforms in Azerbaijan

Being an offshore crane of the latest generation, the Liebherr BOS crane represents state-of-the-art technology and is the right choice for applications requiring high lifting capacities at medium or high outreaches. Four new cranes of the BOS-series will serve these requirements in 2021 on two offshore platforms in Azerbaijan. Montecon S.A. order two Liebherr electric rubber tyre gantry cranes (ERTG)

Montecon S.A. at the Port of Montevideo, Uruguay have placed an order with Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd. for two large electric rubber tyre gantry cranes. The machines are the first Liebherr RTGs in Uruguay. Stacking ten containers and a truck lane wide and one over six containers high, the ERTGs are ideal for maximising space utilisation as the port optimises an RTG operation that includes reefer handling.
