Liebherr compact crane for Corsica – CNC Levage takes delivery of LTC 1050-3.1

A new flagship – Wille supplements its fleet with a Liebherr LTM 1450 8.1 mobile crane

North Germany-based crane and heavy haulage contractor Wille Krane GmbH has expanded its fleet with a Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 mobile crane. The new 450-tonne crane will replace an LTM 1350-6.1 and is now the largest crane in the company's fleet. The largest mobile crane in Finland – Helaakoski adds used Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 mobile crane to its fleet

Finnish crane and transport contractor J. Helaakoski Oy has significantly extended its range of services upwards by purchasing a Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1. Previously a 500-tonne machine was the company's most powerful crane. Helaakoski decided to buy a used crane straight from the manufacturer Liebherr. The LTM 1750-9.1 is now also the most powerful mobile crane in Finland. Find out more

Scholl takes delivery of new Liebherr LTM 1230-5.1 mobile crane

Karl Scholl GmbH from Heidelberg took delivery of an LTM 1230-5.1 mobile crane at the Liebherr Plant in Ehingen during November. The 5-axle LTM 1230-5.1 delivers greater mobility due to it being much easier to obtain road licences for it. The 230-tonne crane will also upgrade the company’s fleet due to its variable boom system comprising a 75 metre telescopic boom and a 39 metre infinitely adjustable luffing jib as well as innovations such as VarioBase® and VarioBallast®. Swiss crane contractor Gyger Levage extends fleet with two new Liebherr mobile cranes

Swiss crane contractor Gyger Levage has taken delivery of two new Liebherr mobile cranes. An LTM 1040-2.1 will expand the crane fleet in the lower lifting capacity range and an LTM 1450-8.1 with a maximum lifting capacity of 450 tonnes will add to the fleet at the top end of the range. Liebherr cranes erect prototype of the most powerful offshore wind turbine in the world

A few weeks ago, the prototype of what is currently the most powerful offshore wind turbine in the world was erected in the Dutch port of Rotterdam. The gondola of the wind turbine, which measures an overall 207 metres in height, has a net weight of 675 tonnes. It was the heaviest load for the two Liebherr crawler cranes used for the job. In a tandem hoist, the two LR 11350 cranes managed a gross load of 780 tonnes and placed the massive component onto the 150 metre tower for the gigantic turbine. Find out more

Liebherr mobile cranes in South Korea – new facility opens and crane premiere

Liebherr will deliver 25 new mobile cranes this year to South Korea, more units than ever before. The Asian country has also developed into a major market for MK mobile construction cranes.
