Manufacturing of Liebherr Heavy Lift Crane 150000-3000 for Alfa Lift reaches key milestone

Cooperation for greener energy

Liebherr-MCCtec Rostock GmbH together with Aibel AS has signed a contract for the delivery of a cylinder-luffing crane, type RL 2600-35 Lit. The company TenneT TSO GmbH commissioned Aibel AS to build the offshore platform DolWin epsilon on which the Liebherr crane will be used for supply and maintenance tasks on the German North Sea. Heavy Lift Crane HLC 295000 to be repaired

Positive signals from Rostock: the offshore crane HLC 295000 from Liebherr is to be repaired. The crane, which is on board the special purpose vessel “Orion” and was damaged in the international Port of Rostock, will be completed in the course of 2021. Two Firsts for Liebherr Maritime Cranes

Four Liebherr Board Offshore Cranes for oil platforms in Azerbaijan

Montecon S.A. order two Liebherr electric rubber tyre gantry cranes (ERTG)

Montecon S.A. at the Port of Montevideo, Uruguay have placed an order with Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd. for two large electric rubber tyre gantry cranes. The machines are the first Liebherr RTGs in Uruguay. Stacking ten containers and a truck lane wide and one over six containers high, the ERTGs are ideal for maximising space utilisation as the port optimises an RTG operation that includes reefer handling. Liebherr lifting space components at Port Canaveral

A special modified LHM 600 at Port Canaveral marks the largest mobile harbour crane in the U.S. to handle all types of heavy cargo, including space components. The machine features a maximum lifting capacity of up to 154 tonnes and 58 metres boom reach. A special double layer winch in combination with a high-rise configuration allows a maximum lifting height of up to 70 meters. Find out more

Flexible Barge Solution at the Harbor of New York

At the New York Harbor, NY, Sims Metal Management uses a Liebherr mobile harbour crane type LHM 600 to load scrap and unload salt. The crane is placed on a floating barge and can be moved to another terminal of the port if required. With a maximum lifting capacity of 75 tonnes in 4-rope grab operation, the crane is the strongest floating mobile harbour crane on a barge in the U.S. in 4-rope grab capacity. Find out more
