Egyptian crane contractor buys used Liebherr LR 1400/2 crawler crane

Egyptian heavy haulage and crane contractor, The Specialized Contracting Company CRANES, based in Cairo, has one of the largest fleets of mobile and crawler cranes in the region. Liebherr crawler crane LR 11000 between Ironman and surfers in Hawaii

A Liebherr crawler crane of type LR 11000 from the fleet of Buckner HeavyLift Cranes is currently in use in the holiday paradise of Hawaii. New Vestas wind turbines with a hub height of 105 metres have been under construction there for over three months. Kandla Cargo Handlers enlarges fleet with addition of a refurbished LTM 1750-9.1 at the upper end of their lifting capacity

Kandla Cargo Handlers, based in Mumbai / India, took delivery of a refurbished LTM 1750-9.1 in April this year. The nine axle crane is the largest machine in the fleet of the crane rental company now and will be used mainly for industrial and wind power installations. Liebherr LR 13000 crawler crane loads massive oil platform

Just three hours rather than the normal 18 and no need to close the waterway – all made possible by the most powerful conventional crawler crane in the world. Gas turbine from ship to power plant – HKV uses three 500-tonne Liebherr cranes

Crane and heavy transport contractor HKV Schmitz+Partner GmbH, based in Cologne, used three 500-tonne Liebherr cranes to transport a gas turbine from the port at Chempark Dormagen to a new-build power plant at the neighbouring site occupied INEOS in Cologne. Two LTM 1500-8.1 mobile cranes hoisted the turbine out of a freighter onto a heavy haulage vehicle and an LR 1500 crawler crane then placed it on a prepared site once it had arrived at the INEOS plant. Liebherr strengthening its LTM 1750-9.1 mobile crane

The Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 mobile crane is getting stronger. The use of refined static calculation methods means that lifting capacity values have been increased across almost the entire working range. The LTM 1750-9.1 is becoming an 800-tonner, with the type designation LTM 1750-9.1 being retained. Liebherr has compiled a new luffing jib configuration using existing lattice sections to provide additional capacity increases for wind power applications. Cranes already in use on the market can be retrofitted with the new system. Find out more

Hennemann Holzbau renews fleet with two Liebherr mobile cranes

Hennemann Holzbau GmbH from Tautenhain in Saxony has taken ownership of two new mobile cranes from Liebherr. An LTM 1030-2.1 replaces a 13 year-old crane of the same type. And an LTM 1060/2 built in 2004 is replaced by a new LTM 1070-4.2. The company is now ready for the future with an upgraded crane fleet. Find out more
