Liebherr in Italy

Gear cutting tools have been produced in Collegno in northern Italy since 2004. Liebherr-Utensili s.r.l. was the successor that year to the companies Della Ferrera S.R.L. and U.S.P.I.T. S.p.A. The company is now a leading manufacturer in the gear cutting industry. The product range includes cutting wheels, shaving cutters, wafers and rack shaped cutters, rolling wheels and mandrel bars, master gears, press wheels and profile-ground tools.

The Italian retailer and service network for the Earthmoving Equipment Division is supported and coordinated from Lallio. Liebherr Distribuzione Italia S.p.A., which was founded in Lallio in 2005, is responsible for sales and service of Liebherr earthmoving equipment. The range of services also includes repairs and the supply of spare parts.

Service center for extensive customer support

The service center in Lallio contains, for example, a repair and maintenance hall with an area of 1,500 m² for all kinds of service work. In order to ensure that spare parts are supplied quickly, the company's headquarters also has a spare parts warehouse covering an area of 400 m². Modern facilities ensure extensive customer support.

In October 1984, the sales company Liebherr-Monfalcone S.p.A. started its business operations in the Province of Görz in northern Italy. The company, whose name was changed to Liebherr-Italia S.p.A. in 1992, distributes and services tower cranes, mobile cranes and maritime cranes from Liebherr in Monfalcone.
