Treffler is a traditional crane company and has enjoyed a good reputation in Munich for 150 years. Maik Kanitzky, owner of the Maxikraft Group, explained: “We want to retain the Treffler brand and continue to establish it in the market. With that in mind, we plan to continue to run the company with the name Treffler GmbH. It was very important to us to take on all the staff. Our next priority is to modernise the fleet. We are already seeing a positive development in the company.” By the end of 2020, the Treffler crane fleet will be extended with cranes with lifting capacities of up to 450 tonnes .

The first crane consignment consisted of a Liebherr LTF 1045-4.1 telescopic truck-mounted crane, two LTM 1070-4.2 machines and an LTM 1130-5.1. The LTF 1045-4.1 is a flexible taxi crane designed to deliver high economy for driving long distances. It carries all its counterweights with it, so that it is immediately ready for action once it reaches the site. The compact 4-axle LTM 1070-4.2 is perfect for Munich city centre. The LTM 1130-5.1 can complete a wide range of crane jobs without requiring additional ballast to be transported as it can carry up to 9 t of counterweights with an axle load of 12 tonnes. Its 60 metre telescopic boom makes it is ideal for erecting tower cranes.

An LTM 1055-3.2, an LTM 1090-4.2 and an LTM 1230-5.1 will follow in spring. The layout of the new cranes also provides evidence of the Treffler GmbH’s social commitment – every hour worked by all the cranes in the fleet results in 0.50 euros being donated to the Munich/Ingolstadt German Child Cancer Aid charity.
