The focus has always been on the user and function with Liebherr gearboxes. As such, versatile drive variants have been created over the years. The series products from our product portfolio serve as a basis for this. The gearboxes can be made as standalone units or integrated in the adjacent structure.

Be it in deep foundation machines, concrete mixing systems or large dumper trucks – gearboxes from Liebherr are always application-specific and function-orientated. In this way, customers and users profit from a variety of special drives and types of construction. These are tailored precisely to the respective deployment situation.
Customer-specific special gearboxes
Special development: KAT 700 chain drive
From the possible planetary gear, spur gear and angular stage combinations, Liebherr manufactures special gearboxes as individual drive solutions. Here, the quantity and size of the electric or hydraulic motors are as variable as the number of outputs. There are various options for the type of output:

- Shaft-flange connection

Autonomous or integrated gearbox
BAT 180 drilling drive with customer-specific adjacent structure
With a view to the customer-specific requirements, Liebherr realises gearboxes either as standalone units or integrates them completely in the adjacent structure. Here, the components of the adjacent structure can also be included in the order, such as with the drilling drive.
Special gearboxes based on series products
DAT 250
The DAT 250 serves to drive the rotor blade adjustment of wind turbines. The angular stage makes it ideal for the restricted installation space.

DAT 1000
The DAT 1000 is so far the largest slewing drive that Liebherr has developed and manufactured. We implemented an output pinion here for the first time using a 50 module.
Output torque: 620,000 Nm

FAT 700
The FAT 700 features a spur wheel gear stage offset to the planetary gearbox axis. This means that the FAT 700 crawler tractor has greater ground clearance.
Drive: two hydraulic motors
Output torque: 170,000 Nm
FAT 1500
The FAT 1500 is one of the largest travel drives from Liebherr. It is driven by two hydraulic motors via a spur wheel gear stage.
