Aileron Actuator - Motor Control Electronics (MCE)
Unlike a classic architecture, the primary flight control of the A400M is supplied from the electrical network on top of the hydraulic supply system. Via a digital communication bus, the motor drive electronics system regulates the speed of the respective electric motor. It is supplied with power from the aircraft's three-phase electrical network.
Electric Heater Control (EHC)
Electric heaters are used in areas of the aeroplane in which air-conditioning is not available. Liebherr EHCs are utilized to control these heating systems. The controllers provide between one and four kilowatts of heating power.

Flap Active Differential Gear Box - Motor Control Electronics (MCE)
These products regulate the relative position of the inner and outer landing flap panels to each other and thereby follow the commands of the slat flap control computer. Located between the inner and outer flaps of the A350 XWB in both wings are active differential gearboxes. The Active Differential Gear Box (ADGB) motor control, which is supplied from the 230VAC power network, controls the angle difference between the flaps via the gearboxes as needed for the respective flight situation.
Landing Gear Steering and Actuating Control Unit (LGSCU)
Modern landing gear systems require electrical control functions to move the landing gear in and out as well as for nose wheel steering. The availability requirements of these functions is so high that they lead to redundant control architectures based on so-called redundant fail-safe channels. The LGSCU also features a landing gear position monitoring function as well as displays in the cockpit.
Motor and Actuator Control Electronics (MACE)
To control and monitor the high lift system (fore flap/landing flap), the FSCU is used as a centralised electronics system. The extensive, electrical interface is completely handled in this control box. This function is safety-critical, therefore a computer structure is required to assure a fail-safe response
Air Conditioning System Control Unit (ACSC)
Two ACSCs per aeroplane regulate the temperature and pressure in the Embraer KC390 and E-Jet E2. Temperatures controlled by the pilot are measured, set automatically and monitored. Moreover, the ACSC monitors the cabin pressure and regulates it automatically. The whole system status can be called up at any time via the diagnostic information.
Remote Electronic Unit (REU)
REUs are used in modern flight control structures. The comprehensive interface to the classic actuator is reduced to a minimum by means of a digital, bidirectional data bus interface. The REU performs actuator control and monitoring functions decentralised from the flight control computer.
Rudder Actuator - Motor Control Electronics (MCE)

Slat - Motor Control Electronics (MCE)
The A350 XWB fore flaps (slats) are powered by a hydraulic and an electric motor via a differential gearbox and linkage. The motor drive electronics system is supplied with power from the 3 phases x 230VAC network and drives this electric motor. Here, the MCE regulates the speed at which the slats move in and out as well as their position based on the specifications of the slat flap control computer and with the aid of the position, speed and electrical current information from the motor.
Spoiler Actuator Motor Control (MCE)
The spoiler of the A380 can be actuated hydraulically or electrically. The hydraulic actuator is thereby supplied from the central hydraulic system or from a local hydraulic circuit. The motor drive electronics unit, which is supplied by the aircraft electrical supply, drives the electric motor, which in turn drives the hydraulic pump of the local hydraulic circuit.
Supplementary Cooling System Controller (SCSC)
With an inverter output of 23kW, the SCSC controls cooling of food and drink in the galley kitchen of the A380 and is also responsible for cooling the avionic bay. The hermetically sealed housing includes an active cooling system.
Transformer Rectifier Unit (TRU)
The TRU is a powerful converter that transforms input voltage from 3 phases (115 VAC at 400Hz each) into an unregulated output voltage of 28VDC. The weight-optimised unit is designed for minimum performance loss. In this way, it can be integrated in new and existing civil and military aerospace applications.
Utility Computer (UC)
The utility computer facilitates control and monitoring functions for several different systems in the aeroplane. The modern architecture is designed to be resistant against hash environmental conditions and features a redundant channel.
