The practical phases in several divisions and locations made an international career possible. Then I was responsible for international projects and acquired two years' experience in China. Today I am Head of Commercial Services in After Sales at Liebherr Aerospace Toulouse SAS in France and manage a team of 46 employees. Starting and staying at Liebherr was one of the best decisions I have ever made. “Following my master’s degree in sales engineering, I had the opportunity to get to know a wide range of areas, departments and processes at Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH as part of a trainee program. This extensive experience in areas of the company such as construction, production, customer service, crane acceptance and of course sales is a benefit to me in my current position as Area Sales Manager for the United States and Canada. Because of the need for an additional sales person on the team of my trainee mentor – who proved to be an enormous support, by the way – my future role became clear early on. Not least as a result of the two-month stay in the U.S. and Canada, my focus was on the North American markets.
