The Product Owner – FMS Development is responsible for effective product backlog definition, prioritisation, development planning and release management. The Product Owner works closely with product management and development teams to ensure all required functionalities are developed in a prioritized manner to meet the approved business and functional requirements defined for the product. In addition to the technical aspects, the Product Owner ensures effective communication and knowledge transfer, collaborating across multiple time zones with a wide variety of other positions in the performance of their duties.

Your missions:

Key Accountabilities:

—Develop and maintain product backlog items to be queued for development.—In collaboration with product management and architect teams, prioritise the development sequence for the product backlog.—Translate approved functional requirements into actionable tasks and work packages for development team execution.—Drive and set expectation of value and features to be delivered as part of the scrum / sprint planning process.—Ensure the product backlog, development plan and feature set release dates are clearly communicated and understood by all stakeholders.—International travels are required, particularly in Austalia. Key Performance Indicators:—Improvement opportunities identified and solution proposals documented.—Deliverables are within scope and achieve functionality, reliability, and cost objectives/standards.—Work packages are clear, actionable and understood by relevant stakeholders.—Development team is fully briefed and aware of relevant notifications.—Effective communications and knowledge transfer across all stakeholders—Resolve or escalate disputes/concerns in a timely manner.—Feedback from relevant Operational/Divisional Key Stakeholders—Demonstration of Liebherr Behavioural and Leadership Competencies.

Your profile:

- Master’s degree in Computer Science, or Engineering or experience in Mining environment.

- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Product Owner role.

- Strong working knowledge of agile development methodologies

- Understanding of business value related to feature and functions

- Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies

Desirable - Specific development experience with fleet management and or autonomous haulage systems is highly desirable.

Technical Competencies:

—Extensive experience in specifying and implementing work packages for development of complex software solutions.

—Creating a product road map based on this vision.

—Developing user stories.

—Excellent communication and collaborations skills, both technical and non-technical.

—Experience with work package creation and agile project management methodologies.
