Training levels
Fundamentals
The trainee is familiar with the basics of the science school subjects behind the operation of each COT product. Examples: mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, electrical engineering, electronics, chemistry, materials engineering.
Basic
The trainee knows the COT product portfolio and applications. He/she is able to use the correct terminology to describe and explain the basics of the structure and operation of the respective COT products.He/she knows the preventive maintenance measures and is able to correctly perform maintenance activities on the respective COT products according to SL 1 and/or 2.
Advanced
The trainee has a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of COT products. He/she uses and applies the acquired skills to diagnose fault symptoms. He/She analyzes and evaluates the situation, performs measurements and tests, understands the interaction between components and finally identifies the cause(s) of the failure. He/She knows the corrective maintenance procedures and is able to correctly perform maintenance activities on the respective COT products according to SL 3.
Expert
The training participant is able to independently, correctly and efficiently perform diagnostics on the respective COT products. He/she is able to professionally justify his/her diagnostic method or procedure and the resulting decisions. He/she is able to correctly perform repairs and/or REMAN on the respective COT products according to SL 4 and/or 5.

The trainee is familiar with the scientific principles underlying the academic subjects on which the operation of each COT product is based.
Examples: mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, electrical engineering, electronics, chemistry, materials science.
The trainee is familiar with the COT product range and its applications. He or she is able to describe and explain the basics of the design and operation of the relevant COT products using the correct terminology. He or she is familiar with preventive maintenance measures and is able to carry out maintenance tasks on the relevant COT products correctly in accordance with SL 1 and/or 2.
The trainee has a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of COT products. He or she uses and applies the skills acquired to diagnose fault symptoms. He or she analyses and assesses the situation, carries out measurements and tests, understands how the components interact and ultimately identifies the cause(s) of the fault. He or she is familiar with the procedures for rectifying faults and is able to carry out repairs on the relevant COT products correctly in accordance with SL 3.
The trainee is able to carry out diagnostics on the relevant COT products independently, accurately and efficiently. They are able to provide a technical justification for their diagnostic method or approach and the resulting decisions. They are able to carry out repairs and/or REMAN work on the relevant COT products correctly in accordance with SL 4 and/or 5.

How are the COB repair training courses structured?
The repair training courses combine theory and practice and qualify participants to carry out independent damage analysis and repairs in accordance with OEM standards.

What is the group size for the training courses?
Depending on the training topic, the number of participants is limited to a maximum of 8 people.
Where do the customer service training courses take place?
The training courses take place in Biberach an der Riß or on-site worldwide, provided the necessary conditions are met.

Yes, we also offer on-the-job training. Our trainers work alongside your staff directly in the workplace and support them with specific tasks.
