In May, the 300-tonner successfully completed a crane job in this field, in Lower Saxony. KVN is extremely satisfied with their new mobile crane. With a transport weight of just 45 tonnes, it can be transported around the world without restrictions. Liebherr unveils a new 250-tonne mobile crane to visitors from all over the world at its 2015 customer days at the manufacturing plant in Ehingen. The LTM 1250-5.1 is now the most powerful mobile crane on 5 axles on the market. It is the third crane model on which Liebherr uses its innovative single-engine concept. In addition to a multi-functional folding jib, a 50m fixed jib is also available. The Liebherr innovations VarioBase® and ECOmode mean that crane operators can use the new LTM 1250-5.1 with even more safety and efficiency.

Entering a new load capacity class – Spallek invests in Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2 mobile crane

Powerful, user-friendly and quickly ready for use: these are the key words used by Autokrane Werner Spallek GmbH & Co. KG to describe its new Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2 mobile crane. The investment means that Spallek has now entered a higher load capacity class. Company owner Werner Spallek visited the Liebherr plant in Ehingen at the start of June with his son Philipp to take delivery of the new 300-tonne machine.

Hüffermann Krandienst GmbH took delivery of a Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 mobile crane in May. The 500-tonne machine represents a major expansion upwards into a higher load capacity range for the fleet of the north German company. Liebherr is to participate in the 9th M&T Expo Fair 2015, one of the largest construction equipment trade fairs in Latin America. M&T Expo will be held in São Paulo (Brazil) from 9 to 13 June.

The Liebherr Group presents a selection of its varied range of cranes at the CTT Moscow. While the LTR 1060 telescopic crawler crane with its variable boom system is predestined for the assembly of finished parts, the modular 150 EC-B 8 Litronic flat-top crane can be modified for a broad range of construction site requirements. Visitors to the exhibition are also able to test the crane simulator for construction cranes, which is a permanent item in Liebherr's crane driver training program.

The “Seegold” is a new motor ship for shuttle services on Lake Constance. In May two Liebherr mobile cranes have launched the 100-tonne ship's hull into the water. Tight spaces and the low capacity of the quay in Friedrichshafen made the lift a challenge. In use were an LTM 1350-6.1 from the Wiesbauer company, and an LTM 1400-7.1 from Paule.

LTM 1300-6.2 mobile crane with Liebherr single-engine concept proves itself in use

Liebherr unveiled the new 300-tonne LTM 1300-6.2 at the Bauma 2013, featuring a brand new power concept to operate the superstructure. Instead of the twin-engine concept normally used on cranes in this class this crane is powered by a single engine with a mechanical shaft. Gear shafts are routed from the distributor gear in the substructure via two mitre gears through the centre of the slewing ring to the pump distributor gear in the superstructure. Several dozen models of this new crane have since proven their worth on sites around the world.

Liebherr LTF 1060-4.1 truck-chassis crane provides maximum load capacity of 60 tons

At the 2015 Maskin Expo, Liebherr displays the LTF 1060-4.1 truck-chassis crane with a maximum load capacity of 60 metric tons. This crane was first launched in 2009 as an addition to the top end of the cranes intended for installation on truck chassis. With a 40-metre telescopic boom and a 16 m double folding fly jib, this crane can lift loads to a height of up to 56 m and an outreach of 48 m.
