Permit-free from south to north: new Liebherr LTM 1055-3.3 mobile crane for Schlamann-Autokrane GmbH

The LTM 1055-3.3 is the second of four new Liebherr mobile cranes ordered by Schlamann-Autokrane GmbH this year. The new 55-tonne crane is the lightest 3-axle all-terrain crane on the market: it travelled from the Liebherr plant in Ehingen, Upper Swabia, to Nienburg in Lower Saxony without the need for complex authorisation procedures.

Just four days after delivery, the new Liebherr LTM 1400-6.1 completed its first job for Kuiphuis Kraanverhuur B.V. The debut took place, of all places, in Oldenzaal – the headquarters of the Dutch crane hire company. With a maximum lifting capacity of 2,500 tonnes, this heavy-duty crane is designed for demanding lifting operations in the fields of offshore wind energy, energy infrastructure and industrial plant construction. The new LR 12500-1.0 has already demonstrated its capabilities in the installation of components for offshore wind turbines.

MK 140-5.1 mobile construction crane proves its worth during antenna replacement work above the rooftops of Mannheim

On the roof of an extension to the Rosengarten Congress Centre in Mannheim, SCHOLPP Kran & Transport GmbH replaced a mobile communications system using a Liebherr MK 140-5.1 mobile construction crane. The lift was carried out at a jib reach of 64.2 metres. Thanks to its Vario Jib technology and electric crane operation, the mobile construction crane proved to be a cost-effective and, at the same time, particularly low-noise solution for use in an inner-city environment.
