Zhejiang Liebherr Zhongche Transportation Systems Co., Ltd. Receives Its First IRIS Certificate

Recently, Zhejiang Liebherr Zhongche Transportation Systems Co., Ltd., a joint venture of Liebherr-Transportation Systems GmbH & Co KG, Korneuburg (Austria), and Guangzhou Zhongche Railway Vehicles Equipment Joint-Stock Co., Ltd. based in Zhuji, Zhejiang Province (China), has been certified for the first time according to the International Railway Industry Standard (IRIS).

Liebherr is Exhibiting the L 556 Wheel Loader at World of Concrete 2014

The new generation of Liebherr Wheel Loaders will be presented at the 2014 World of Concrete show in Las Vegas (USA). The L 556 model on display belongs to the large-size range of Liebherr wheel loaders and complies with Tier 4i / stage IIIB emission standards. These new-generation machines have an optimized tipping load that further improves productivity and stability.

The new truck-mounted concrete pump 37 R4 XXT will be unveiled by Liebherr at the World of Concrete event running in Las Vegas, USA from the 21st to the 24th of January, 2014. Comprising a pump type THP 140 H, this equipment also features a Liebherr-patented XXT-narrow outrigger.

Liebherr Group equals previous year’s turnover in 2013 despite weak economic climate

The overall economic situation did not improve in 2013. According to current forecasts, the global economy will grow by just under 3 % and global production probably by 3.1 %. In this year the volume of worldwide trade will, according to World Trade Organisation (WTO) forecasts, increase by 2.5 %. In view of only moderate overall economic development this year, the Liebherr Group expects its total turnover to reach 9,086 million €, which equals the previous year’s figure.

In the last couple of weeks a Liebherr heavy lift fix mounted crane was installed on a new drydock facility on the U.S. side of the famous Niagara Falls in New York state. On October 31st it completed its first job: the crane lifted passenger tour boats out of the water for the local company Maid of the Mist.
