Il s’agit de la plus grande grue à montage rapide de sa catégorie et elle a été spécialement conçue pour des opérations de construction résidentielle, industrielle et routière.

L’entreprise Graziani TP intervient dans les différents domaines d’activité des travaux publics et du bâtiment depuis 2005. Implantée au cœur de l’Alta Rocca à Levie, elle jouit d’une position centrale lui permettant de rayonner avec grande facilité dans le Sud de la Corse. Elle compte aujourd’hui 65 employés. Pour pouvoir réaliser des travaux plus conséquents, comme les terrassements de masse ou des hauts rendements en utilisation brise roche, l’entreprise recherchait une pelle d’une catégorie de poids supérieure à celle de sa flotte de machines.

Turn two into three

Uruguayan company Corporación Navios replaced a Liebherr long duty cycle crane with a permanently installed harbour crane type FCC 300. The recently erected harbour crane will be used for dry bulk handling of barges in hoppers at the terminal in Nueva Palmira, Uruguay. The now total of three harbour cranes is expected to increase the terminal's handling rates and generate operating synergies, as the crane operators will work with the same type of crane on all operations.

Three new Liebherr Megamax STS for Maher Terminals LLC

Liebherr Container Cranes have been awarded the contract for the supply of three ship to shore (STS) container cranes for Maher Terminals LLC at the Port of New York & New Jersey. The cranes will take their place alongside the existing eight Liebherr STS cranes at Maher’s terminal. The first two cranes were supplied in 2012 with a further two in 2014 and four in 2016. Maher’s positive experience with the Liebherr STS for the best part of a decade has reinforced the decision to once again purchase Liebherr cranes.

Crane fleet expansion – Baumann takes delivery of Liebherr LTM 1150-5.3 mobile crane

Viktor Baumann GmbH & Co. KG from Bornheim has taken delivery of a new Liebherr LTM 1150 5.3 mobile crane. The crane and heavy haulage contractor from the south of North Rhine Westphalia intends to use the 150 tonne machine to expand its range of services with 5-axle cranes. The compact dimensions of the LTM 1150-5.3 and its 66 metre telescopic boom were the main criteria behind the decision to buy it.

Essais réussis pour LiCAS

Le système de direction radiale active « LiCAS » (Liebherr Controlled Axle Steering), développé par un consortium composé de Liebherr-Transportation Systems, de l’Université de Newcastle et de Grand Central, a achevé avec succès sa phase initiale d’essais sur le terrain : le système réduit considérablement l’usure des rails et des roues. Le projet a été financé par le Rail Safety and Standards Board UK dans le cadre d’un concours d’innovation pour le développement de la dynamique des véhicules.

More power in the Caribbean: Força strengthens crane fleet with Liebherr LTM 1400-7.1

The crane and heavy haulage company Força Diseño & Ingenieria SRL from the Dominican Republic has almost doubled its range of lifting power for crane work: a new addition to the fleet is an LTM 1400-7.1 with a maximum lifting capacity of 400 tonnes. Previously, the 220-tonne LTM 1220-5.2 was the company's most powerful crane. Força now operates one of the largest mobile cranes in the entire Caribbean.
