Euroports invests in emission-free LPS 420 E

Liebherr will be supplying Euroports Germany with an all-electric portal crane next year. All crane movements of the pioneering machine will be carried out by means of emission-free electric motors. With this sustainable investment, Euroports is increasing the handling capacity of its bulk terminal at Rostock's overseas port.

Liebherr win contract to supply automated cranes to Port of Duqm, Oman

Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd. are pleased to announce that they have secured the contract to supply STS and RTGs to the Port of Duqm. The order of four STS and twelve RTGs will be delivered to Oman in late 2022.

Mikschl Autokrane GmbH based in Aichach has taken delivery of a new Liebherr LTM 1120-4.1 mobile crane. The Bavarian contractor is expanding its crane fleet with the 120 tonne machine. The extremely compact design of the 4-axle crane and its high lifting capacities were major factors behind the decision to buy the new crane.

Liebherr complète ainsi son offre dans le segment grue compacte. Les premiers engins ont été livrés en octobre au loueur de grues Wasel en Allemagne et au loueur Felbermayr en Autriche.

Eineder modernises crane fleet with Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1 mobile crane

Autodienst Eineder GmbH has taken delivery of a new Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1 mobile crane. It will replace an older 220 tonne crane in the Bavarian company’s fleet. The high performance and compact dimensions of the new 250 tonne crane and the possibility of obtaining road licences for 5-axle mobile cranes quickly in Bavaria were major criteria behind the decision. The LTM 1250-5.1 has been one of the most in-demand telescopic mobile cranes from Liebherr for a number of years.

CMI Energia acquires first LR 1600/2 in Honduras

Being the first Liebherr crawler crane for CMI Energia, the LR 1600/2 will play an important role for the central american energy company. Already owning a small fleet of Liebherr LTM mobile cranes, the 600 t crawler will be used for maintenace work in wind parks as well as for repowering and new installation of wind turbines in Central America.

A last goodbye – Last Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 mobile crane goes to LOCAR

The end of an era – the last LTM 1500-8.1 left the Liebherr plant in Ehingen at the end of September. The 626th model of the most successful large crane of all time started its journey to South America. When it arrived, Brazilian crane, heavy haulage and lifting platform contractor LOCAR took delivery of the 500 tonne machine at its office in Serra in the state of Espírito Santo. The new LTM 1500-8.1 is the seventh of these cranes that LOCAR has bought over the last few years.

Première au Canada : Guay reçoit les 2 premières grues mobiles Liebherr LTM 1110-5.1

L'entreprise de grues et de manutention Guay inc. a reçu deux Liebherr LTM 1110-5.1. Ce sont les premières grues de ce type au Canada. La flèche télescopique de 60 mètres et la forte capacité de levage de la grue Liebherr de 110 tonnes ont été des critères de décision importants pour l'entreprise québécoise. Ces nouvelles grues remplacent les anciennes grues de 120 tonnes du parc de grues de Guay, qui compte plus de 500 unités de différents types de grues.

Travelling up to the treeline with snow chains

In Austria, work is currently proceeding at full speed on the "Salzburg line", the country's most important electricity infrastructure project. The Salzburg line runs for a total length of 128 kilometres through the province of Salzburg in partly alpine terrain. The Liebherr mobile cranes working on the construction of the massive electricity pylons have had to access sites at altitudes of up to 1800 metres above sea level.

The new weightlifter: LR 1400 SX

“This is a big step for our location,” says Gerhard Frainer, Managing Director for Sales. “The request for a larger crane came from the market.” With the new LR 1400 SX, Liebherr-Werk Nenzing Gmbh extends its range of crawler cranes to include lifting capacities of up to 400 t. Elle est venue en complément de la pelle de 60 tonnes, Liebherr A 944 C HD High Rise Litronic. La LH 80 M High Rise est utilisée en région parisienne sur la plateforme de « Mazeau Recyclage » à Gennevilliers pour y effectuer des activités de manutention.

En combinaison avec l’interface d’utilisateur intuitive TC-OS, la nouvelle génération EMS-4 réunit ces deux exigences sur des écrans d’affichage d’une taille de douze pouces. À l’avenir, les grutiers et les monteurs navigueront dans une structure de menu adaptée par le biais de la commande multi-touch.

Ils construisent pour Berlin depuis 1990 - Le groupe familial BTB Berlin offre un service complet, du terrassement au recyclage. Depuis peu, trois nouvelles chargeuses sur pneus L 586 XPower® viennent compléter le parc de machines de l’entreprise. Elles remplacent les L 580 XPower®, acquises en 2017, qui ont assuré leur travail de manière fiable. Les économies de carburant, par rapport à d'autres chargeuses sur pneus de même taille, ont été un critère majeur dans la nouvelle décision d'achat. Les nouvelles chargeuses sur pneus sont aussi convaincantes visuellement avec leur peinture spéciale dans le design du groupe BTB. Les clés ont été remises en personne par Oliver Hanneck, le vendeur responsable de Liebherr-Baumaschinen Vertriebs- und Service GmbH de Berlin.

Mobile harbour cranes with electric drive in high demand

In the 2021 sales year, demand for Liebherr mobile harbour cranes with an e-drive has risen sharply. Compared to 2019, the number of units equipped with an electric motor has even doubled. Liebherr has been successfully using a hybrid drive concept consisting of a diesel engine and an electric drive for the mobile harbour cranes product segment for over 20 years. In addition to emission-free handling, the benefits of e-drive include cost savings and less maintenance.
