Liebherr supplies excavator for Moray Council’s new dredger

Moray Council, the only authority in Scotland to own a dredger, invited Liebherr-Great Britain to design and supply an excavator for direct mounting on its new £2.5 million dredger, MV Selkie. The R 936 excavator, supplied with marine specification and two excavation buckets, was selected for its ability to fulfil the requirement to dredge up to 8 m under water. On the dredger’s first trip out, the R 936 unloaded 260 tonnes from its hull in half an hour.

Une grue à tour Liebherr a récemment été mise en œuvre dans le cadre du montage d’une centrale éolienne à quelque 800 m d’altitude dans le parc éolien « Prechtaler Schanze » en Forêt Noire. Sur les hauteurs situées entre les communes de Gutach et de Mühlenbach, la 1000 EC-B n’a eu besoin que d’une surface au sol très réduite pour ériger, pour la première fois, une éolienne d’une hauteur de moyeu de 149m. Jamais, jusqu’à présent, la grue à tour du constructeur d'éoliennes ENERCON n’était monté si haut, que ce soit avec ou sans haubanage le long de la tour de l’éolienne.
