Flossdorf expands fleet with a Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 mobile crane

Dietmar Flossdorf GmbH took delivery of an LTM 1500-8.1 mobile crane at the Liebherr Plant in Ehingen in mid-March. The 8-axle 500-tonne mobile crane will replace a seven-year-old LTM 1350-6.1. The new crane will extend Flossdorf's range of services upwards. It provides additional job capacity, particularly in the wind power sector where it will primarily be used for repairs and repowering. Visionary lattice boom system from Liebherr

Liebherr has developed a completely new boom system with the designation SX for its 750-tonne lattice boom cranes LR 1750/2 and LG 1750 for erecting the latest generation of wind turbines. Turbines with a hub height of up to 165 metres and component weights of up to 120 tonnes can be erected using the SX system. To date these capacity data were the exclusive domain of cranes in the 1000 tonne class or above. Find out more

Liebherr to Supply Roll Coupling Components for Combino Low-Floor Trams in Potsdam

Liebherr-Transportation Systems has received an order from Siemens AG, Vienna (Austria) to supply roll coupling components for eight Combino low-floor trams. The trams will be operated by Verkehrsbetriebe Potsdam GmbH, Potsdam (Germany). The order comprises a total of 48 control cylinders, 24 hydraulic accumulators and 24 stop valves, and will be delivered by the end of 2017. Find out more
