Florian Schuon has already celebrated several milestones with and at Liebherr-Verzahntechnik GmbH. We sat down with him to talk about the foundation of the Digital Solutions department, the challenges of digital products and the specifics of working in the Liebherr Group.

After completing his physics degree, Gary Chatell gained many years of experience working for Japanese companies. He spent more than 30 years with them in total, before becoming President of Liebherr Gear and Automation Technologies, Inc. in Saline, Michigan in 2017.

From Costa Rica via Germany to the USA. Originally from Costa Rica, Federico Quesada has been a Regional Sales Manager at Liebherr since 2020. Having studied mechanical engineering at RTWH Aachen, he then spent more than 10 years working in gear technology – specifically in Application Technology and Sales.

We asked him what his job as Regional Sales Manager in the USA and Mexico entails and what challenges his customers face, and spoke about the effects of cultural differences.
