The highest echelon of the Group is the board of directors, comprised exclusively of family members. It has the final say in all fundamental matters concerning company policy, development policy and product policy as well as financial and investment policy. Apart from siblings Dr. h.c. Willi Liebherr and Dr. h.c. Isolde Liebherr, as representatives of the second generation, this board also includes Jan Liebherr, Stéfanie Wohlfarth, Sophie Albrecht, Patricia Rüf, Johanna Platt and Philipp Liebherr as representatives of the third generation.

The children and grandchildren of the company's founder, Dr.-Ing. E.h. Hans Liebherr, who are active in the Liebherr Group, ensure continuity in the organization's management. They guarantee that the Group stays inseparably attached to the Liebherr family, now and in the future, and that it is managed as an independent family-run business.
