The trainee programme gives you the opportunity to work in different departments and at various Liebherr sites. You gain extensive insights into our Group of companies and become familiar with our innovative products. Networking Days – Let’s meet!
You are not alone: Networking Days see all trainees around the world come together – live and in person.
Whether swapping experiences, tackling challenges together or simply chatting over a coffee – this is where initial contacts are made, from which valuable and long-lasting networks grow.
Final Event – Let’s celebrate!
Something a bit special to finish with: at the Final Event, we celebrate not only the completion of your programme, but all your achievements too.
Swap stories with other trainees, share what you’ve learned, gain new inspiration – and establish useful contacts for your future career.

Training courses
- Across the entire programme, both basic training courses (e.g. Intercultural Management and Project Management) and specialist courses are available
- You will also be supported throughout the entire programme by a mentor, who acts as your contact person and who you can speak to whenever you need to.

Overseas stay
- You will spend at least three months at one of our numerous Liebherr sites around the world
- There, you will not only get to know another company within the Group, but also learn about other cultures and countries and, in addition, further expand your language skills
- This will help to expand your international network and promote your further personal development

Stages
- You will run through an agreed trainee plan in various areas of activity
- At least one period abroad is mandatory
- A further period of time spent in another Liebherr company is also part of the programme
- You will become familiar with many different areas within the company and within the Liebherr Group of companies

You can complete the trainee programme in the following areas:
- Research and Development
- Engineering (mechanical or industrial engineering)
- Sales and Service
- IT
- Quality Management
- Production
- Purchasing
- Finance and Administration
- Project Management and Project Management Logistics
- Human Resources

Qualifications that you will have:
- Course of study at university/college: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed or nearing the end of the study course
- Very good performance
- Fluent English
- Open to and interested in other cultures and international mobility
