We are a family-run company

The Liebherr Group has been family-owned since it was founded in 1949 by Hans Liebherr, and the company is committed to ensuring that Liebherr remains an independent family-run company and masters key technologies itself. Liebherr plans and acts for the long term, responsibly and with foresight and is recognised as a company for job security and co-operation based on partnership and trust.

The wide range of company benefits is customised by the individual companies. These include, for example, collectively agreed and performance-related pay, company pension schemes, health management and benefits that promote balance between work life and family life.

Our product segments include earthmoving machines, material handling machines, deep foundation machines, mining, mobile and crawler cranes, tower cranes, concrete technology, maritime cranes, gear technology and automation systems, aerospace and transportation systems, components, refrigerators and freezers, and hotels.

Whether as a customer service technician, IT specialist or marketing manager: with over 140 companies, the Liebherr Group represents a particularly wide spectrum of opportunities.

Focussing on the individual

We have been training talented young people for many decades. Through around 60 training roles and 40 dual study programmes, we support school-aged students as they enter the world of work, offering them guidance and real-world understanding. We open up new perspectives for experienced employees, for example through extensive further training programmes. These are focussed on the career goals and personal strengths of each individual.
