Space-saving harbour crane technology on portals

With its portal crane models, Liebherr offers a unique combination of tested Liebherr harbour crane technology and space-saving assembly on rail-mounted portals. The model series of Liebherr portal slewing cranes (LPS) as well as the travelling cargo cranes (TCC) are suitable not only for handling bulk goods and cargo but also containers in sea and inland harbours.

Liebherr portal slewing crane – LPS

Portal slewing cranes from Liebherr are space-spacing material handling equipment that adapts to the conditions of each terminal. The combination of versatile harbour crane technology and a portal undercarriage make it effective harbour equipment.

Liebherr portal slewing electric crane – LPS E

The new LPS 420 E is the latest extension of the Liebherr mobile harbour crane product range. The newly designed machine is a purely electric driven portal crane. All crane movements like luffing, hoisting, slewing and travelling are done by electric motors.

Liebherr portal mobile – LPM

In fact, the design is a mix of the well-established Liebherr mobile harbour crane and the related rail-mounted portal solution. By taking out and combining two essential design elements the LPM was born. A portal crane on wheels is the outcome.

Travelling cargo crane – TCC

The combination of slewing crane and travelling rail-mounted gantry makes the Liebherr travelling cargo cranes (TCC) efficient handling solutions in harbours. TCC are ideally suited for handling dry bulk and break bulk goods as well as containers. They are designed for use in both sea and inland harbours.
