Liebherr’s R 924 G8 crawler excavator presented at the Intermat show

Liebherr will be presenting the R 924 G8 crawler excavator at the Intermat show in Paris from 24 to 27 April 2024. Powerful and versatile, the 24 tonne machine effectively combines high productivity, flexible operation and precision. The R 924 G8 presented at Intermat is equipped with a Leica Geosystems semi-automatic machine control system factory-fitted in Colmar (France), along with the following new options: a Skyview 360° camera and a urea filling pump. Strong performers: Liebherr presents new mid-sized wheel loader series

Liebherr has redeveloped and fundamentally revised its range of mid-sized wheel loaders. The newly-designed lift arm ensures maximum breakout, holding and lowering forces. It has optimised z-bar kinematics and improved working hydraulics. Increases in engine power and tipping loads prepare the wheel loaders for demanding operations in various sectors, such as excavation, recycling or log handling. The new development of the mid-sized wheel loader series from Liebherr is also characterised by a powerful design and intelligent assistance systems. These include, for example, active personnel detection with brake assistant or the fully automatic LIKUFIX quick-coupler system. Find out more

On an icy mission: HS 8200

Around 250 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle, Liebherr is part of the largest construction project in Greenland's history. Munk Civil Engineering is carrying out dredging work for two airport projects with the HS 8200 duty cycle crawler crane. The Arctic conditions and logistics pose a particular challenge. With the Used Equipment Marketplace, Liebherr is launching a new portal specifically for the sale of used machines. On this digital platform, customers can find a wide range of used construction and material handling machines, used attachments and accessories as well as used spare parts – directly from certified Liebherr sales and service partners. The Used Equipment Marketplace is available both as a website application in the new Liebherr design with many different features and as an app for quick, direct access on a smartphone. Liebherr-Werk Bischofshofen invests in new assembly hall for battery-electric wheel loaders

After roughly ten months of construction, Liebherr has commissioned a new assembly hall especially for the manufacture of battery-electric wheel loaders at their plant in Bischofshofen. The group’s first electric wheel loader, the L 507 E, has been rolling off the assembly line here since March 2024. In total, Liebherr has invested over €2.2 million in the new manufacturing facilities. The nearly 1000 m² production area is designed for a maximum yearly output of up to 500 battery-electric wheel loaders. Find out more
