Autohaus Kreuzburg GmbH took delivery of a new Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 mobile crane at the plant in Ehingen. The performance of the Liebherr 3-axle crane, its compact dimensions and its VarioBase® variable support base were the main factors behind the purchase.
Managing Director Detlef Tillmann came to the manufacturing plant in Ehingen to take delivery of the crane in person. He said: "The compact size and versatility of the LTM 1060-3.1 and its VarioBase® variable support base were the deciding factors. VarioBase® is particularly helpful for recovering trucks and industrial relocation projects. Our company provides all-round breakdown and towing services using the appropriate equipment." Autohaus Kreuzburg GmbH previously had an LTM 1045 in its fleet, but this was sold as a result of the fact that it was being used less and less. The truck recovery side of the business has now been expanded from Hagen to Lüdenscheid. Kreuzburg bought a used Liebherr LTC 1045-3.1 compact crane for this purpose. However, the company then decided to invest in a new crane. A Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 was chosen since it is the most powerful 3-axle crane on the market. Tillmann went on: "Long-term satisfaction and the unbeatable service together with the fact that the Liebherr service location in Oberhausen is so close were the main reasons for buying from Liebherr. Kreuzburg has now turned itself into a 24-hour all-round service provider to meet our customers' expectations."
Kreuzburg was founded in the mid-seventies and now has a workforce of around 25 at three sites. The company focuses on breakdown, recovery and towing services for cars, trucks and buses.
