100,000th machine: Liebherr sets milestone on its 75th anniversary

It is another milestone in the history of Liebherr-Hydraulikbagger GmbH: the production of the 100,000th machine at the Liebherr Group's founding site. The anniversary machine is absolutely unique, as all employees were able to place their names on the machine. The white LH 22 M Industry therefore bears a very special signature.

Liebherr acquires land in the USA for a new logistics site

In the state of Mississippi, USA Liebherr has acquired 480,000 square meters of land. The Liebherr Group plans to invest in a new logistics distribution center for spare parts to serve its customers in South and North America. In addition, the company intends to establish a campus on the site, where various business units from different product segments of the company will operate in the future. Liebherr aims to create around 180 new jobs in the region.

First Liebherr mobile crane – KönningKrane takes delivery of Liebherr LTM 1160-5.2

KönningKrane GmbH & Co KG from Stadtlohn in the north-west of North Rhine-Westphalia has bought its first Liebherr mobile crane – an LTM 1160-5.2 with a maximum lifting capacity of 180 tonnes extends its crane range towards higher capacities. Its high performance and width of just 2.75 metres were important factors behind the decision.

Reinforcement in Milan – Polita Autogru takes delivery of a Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2

Milan-based crane specialist Polita Autogru Srl. has taken delivery of a new Liebherr mobile crane – with a 78-metre telescopic boom and a maximum lifting height of 114 metres, the LTM 1300-6.2 covers all the requirements in the northern Italian metropolis perfectly. The 300-tonne crane has already shown its worth at its first crane jobs.
