Liebherr: for the first time, a freezer achieves Cradle to Cradle Certified® status

With the groundbreaking vacuum perlite technology BluRoX, circular economy is closer than ever. At IFA, Liebherr Appliances will be presenting the innovative full-vacuum freezer FNXa 522i, which is the first freezer (in fact, the first major domestic appliance) worldwide to achieve the Bronze Cradle to Cradle Certified® status. This is made possible by the use of the unique BluRoX insulation technology throughout the appliance. Loïc Flochlay, directeur commercial du concessionnaire Liebherr SOMTP Bretagne et Alexandre Leroux, directeur de la société Liziard basée dans le Finistère ont mené une expérience inédite au mois de mai dernier. Au départ de Quimper et jusqu’à Vienne, les deux hommes se sont lancés dans la traversée d’une partie de l’Europe à vélo pendant huit jours, soit 2 400 km, afin de rejoindre certains sites de production Liebherr. Ils ont baptisé ce projet extraordinaire « Liebherr Europe Tour 2024 ».

Good things come in threes: Audubon adds new LR 1700-1.0 to its fleet

For the construction and maintenance of wind turbines, Audubon’s field services business has expanded its fleet with an additional LR 1700-1.0. The 700-tonne crane incorporates all the innovations added to Liebherr’s crawler crane range in recent years.

Liebherr's Components product segment is further expanding its portfolio in the area of segmented slewing bearings. The segmented roller slewing ring, which was developed and manufactured at the site in Biberach (Germany), has an external diameter of 23.4 metres.

Tandem hoist on cellar ceiling: Haslach installs giant prestressed concrete trusses

Haslach achieved successful deployment with a lot of planning: several prestressed concrete trusses weighing just under 100 tonnes were installed in the Austrian town of Bludenz for the construction of a new hall at the Getzner textile factory. The hall floor with full cellar running underneath and the limited footprint made the deployment a considerable challenge.

Le deuxième pont routier le plus long d’Allemagne est reconstruit avec 18 grues Liebherr

Le viaduc de Rader enjambe le canal de Kiel sur l’autoroute A7, la liaison rapide entre Hambourg et le Danemark en direction du Nord. Dans les années à venir, ce pont sera reconstruit et élargi. 18 grues Liebherr, de la 65 K.1 à la 150 EC-B, sont chargées des travaux de levage. Ces grues sont en partie installées dans l’eau.

Slurry wall construction in Naples

The company SAOS s.r.l. constructs slurry walls for infrastructure projects such as underground railways, road tunnels and high-speed railway lines throughout Italy. The duty cycle crawler crane HS 8130.1 with the cutter LSC 8-18 from Liebherr has been working on the "Parco San Paolo" underground station in the Campanian capital of Naples for over a year. A major benefit for the customer is the high flexibility of the carrier machine. In just a short time the duty cycle crawler crane can be converted, for example, to grab operation.

Liebherr-Mobilmix livre du béton de qualité pour l’industrie éolienne

L’entreprise Enercon à Emden a acheté en 2005 une centrale Kombimix 2.25 de Liebherr pour la production de segments de tour en béton. La centrale à béton a déjà été modifiée ou étendue plusieurs fois par le passé. Après la vente du site à l’entreprise Bettels Betonfertigteile GmbH, la production a été étendue aux éléments préfabriqués de construction comme les éléments de pont. Les segments de tour en béton pour l’énergie éolienne font toujours partie de la gamme. La centrale existante doit maintenant être encore adaptée aux nouvelles exigences. Pour assurer la transition pendant la modification, Bettels a opté pour une centrale Mobilmix 2.5 hautement mobile de dernière génération de Liebherr.

Liebherr conclut un accord avec AAR CORP.

Liebherr-Aerospace et AAR ont signé un accord de conditions générales à long terme. Le contrat prévoit des services de maintenance, de réparation et de révision des équipements Liebherr dans les centres de service d’AAR, ainsi qu’un service horaire back-to-back pour plusieurs opérateurs.

Al Askar takes delivery of 26 used Liebherr LTM cranes

Al Askar has placed a major order for young used cranes – the Saudi Arabian company ordered 26 used mobile cranes in the medium lifting capacity class from Liebherr. Whilst it is primarily a mobile crane manufacturer, Liebherr is also an expert in refurbishing used cranes to customer specifications. Al Askar will receive high-quality, modern, powerful mobile cranes to strengthen its fleet.
