Co-operation agreement between Liebherr and Kamaz

The Liebherr Group and the Russian company Kamaz OJSC have signed a contract to develop and manufacture a range diesel engines. The contract also includes a complete solution for the construction of an engine production and assembly line as well as respective quality assurance within Kamaz's production.

Liebherr and Kamaz OJSC have signed an agreement on developing and manufacturing a series of 6-cylinder diesel engines with a displacement of 12 litres.

Liebherr Group equals previous year’s turnover in 2013 despite weak economic climate

The overall economic situation did not improve in 2013. According to current forecasts, the global economy will grow by just under 3 % and global production probably by 3.1 %. In this year the volume of worldwide trade will, according to World Trade Organisation (WTO) forecasts, increase by 2.5 %. In view of only moderate overall economic development this year, the Liebherr Group expects its total turnover to reach 9,086 million €, which equals the previous year’s figure.

Boeing Commercial Aircraft has selected Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS, Toulouse (France), to design, develop, supply and service the Nitrogen Enriched Air Inerting System (NEAIS) regulation valves for the KC-46 Tanker Program.

Liebherr heavy lift fix mounted crane is used for lifting tour boats at the Niagara Falls, NY

In the last couple of weeks a Liebherr heavy lift fix mounted crane was installed on a new drydock facility on the U.S. side of the famous Niagara Falls in New York state. On October 31st it completed its first job: the crane lifted passenger tour boats out of the water for the local company Maid of the Mist.
