In our segment, the compressive strength is the first feature defined in the project by concrete professionals. The W/C is the definition of resistance in the concrete recipe. It becomes stronger when the ratio is lower due to the high concentration of cement in the recipe.

The Liebherr Litronic FMS is a high precision self-sufficient moisture measurement system that receives the raw values measured by the Liebherr sensor and converts them into a humidity percentage.

In concrete production, when there is no control, the producer usually adds more cement in order to guarantee the strength. A large percentage of the admixtures is based on the cement dosage, which means that more cement equals higher production costs.

When the FMS moisture control system is installed in the plant, there will be a controlled dosage in each part of the process:

The system will discount the water dosage according to the moisture in the aggregates, saving fresh water.

For the cement dosage, instead of adding more cement to reach the W/C factor due to the moisture, the system will correct the water dosage instead of adding more cement.

Beyond these savings, the FMS measurement system also ensures quality control and a minimum deviation.
