Mammoet receives the first Liebherr LTM 1150-5.4E mobile crane with battery-electric drive
The international engineered heavy lifting and transport company Mammoet is the first customer to take delivery of the new Liebherr LTM 1150-5.4E mobile crane with battery-electric drive. While prototype testing is in advanced stages at Liebherr in Ehingen, the crane is now officially delivered to Mammoet where it is also being tested in practical use. The new Liebherr crane supports the company's sustainability strategy.

Two crawler excavators came together on a construction site in Münsterland. Both are Liebherr machines, but there are 55 years of machine development between them. One is a Liebherr R 901 from 1968, weighing around 10 tonnes and with an angular design. It has been lovingly restored. The other: an ultra-modern Liebherr R 978 SME weighing over 80 tonnes with high-tech equipment, developed for the quarrying industry. The two exhibits share a common history.
