Trio of new cranes for Welti-Furrer

Swiss company Welti-Furrer has taken delivery of a trio of new cranes from Liebherr. The ensemble comprising an LTC 1050 3.1 compact crane, an LTM 1130-5.1 and an LTM 1160-5.2 will introduce a whole series of technical refinements into the fleet and improve its capacity. New all-rounder joins the Kran Burgard fleet

The brand new LTM 1110-5.1 from Liebherr is a genuine all-rounder. It has been a member of the Kran- und Bergungsdienst Kran Burgard fleet since July. The Hesse-based company is delighted with the flexibility of the 5-axle crane – the LTM 1110-5.1 features variable axle loads, high lifting capacities with part ballast and efficient set-up processes. This innovative new crane was first unveiled at the Bauma 2019 event. Deliveries of it to customers all over the world started in June this year. Find out more

London Calling: The Liebherr “fridge telephone box” is back

Many designs fascinate people across the generations. The London telephone box is one of these classics. Its individual design has now even found its way into Austrian kitchens. In 2015, the strictly limited special edition “fridge telephone box” was available from Liebherr for a short period. To mark the 60th anniversary of the death of Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, the creator of the London telephone box, Liebherr is now launching a new edition of the legendary designer fridge-freezer. Four Liebherr Board Offshore Cranes for oil platforms in Azerbaijan

Being an offshore crane of the latest generation, the Liebherr BOS crane represents state-of-the-art technology and is the right choice for applications requiring high lifting capacities at medium or high outreaches. 168-tonne steel girders in tandem hoist – two LTM 1500-8.1 cranes install new bridge over the River Lippe

At the start of July three 168-tonne, 58-metre long steel girders were installed over the River Lippe to replace the bridge over the river on the B233 between Werne and Bergkamen in the Ruhr Area. Crane and heavy haulage specialist Autokrane Schares GmbH used two Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 mobile cranes for the challenging hoists. Find out more

Complex night shift for six Liebherr cranes

Hanover-based Nolte Autokrane gave an impressive performance recently in its home city with a crane job that took a couple of days. A cantilever connection bridge measuring over 70 metres in length and made up of four components and a number of connecting elements had to be assembled in the air between two buildings of the newly erected headquarters of Continental AG (Conti). This difficult task posed a major challenge from both a crane and logistics point of view. Find out more
