    Liebherr crane erects enormous Pegasus statue in Florida

    A bronze sculpture in the form of a Pegasus and a dragon measuring 33 metres high and 63 metres long was being created in Gulfstream Park in Florida last year. It is the largest bronze horse statue in the world. A Liebherr LTM 1400-7.1 mobile crane operated by American company Allegiance Crane worked on the project. The 400-tonner produced an astonishing performance and showed off its wide-ranging functionality.

    Three new Liebherr mobile cranes for Schmidbauer – successful partnership has lasted for decades

    Three new Liebherr mobile cranes were delivered to crane and heavy transport contractor Schmidbauer in November. The company is in the process of modernising its fleet in the five-axle class with one LTM 1100-5.2 and one LTM 1130-5.1. The most powerful three-axle crane on the market, an LTM 1060-3.1, has been added to the fleet in the lower load capacity range. All three new cranes will be stationed at the company's headquarters in Gräfelfing near Munich.

    Liebherr shows the proven 220-tonne mobile crane LTM 1220-5.2 at bC India. The 5-axle all terrain crane features a 60 m telescopic boom and reaches hook heights of up to 101 m and radii of up to 88 m with lattice extensions.     The LTM 11200-9.1 from Liebherr features a load capacity of 1,200 tonnes and a 100-metre telescopic boom. The fact that the heavy duty mobile crane is profitable is confirmed by the number of units delivered, with over 50 being sold since its market launch in 2007. The Max Bögl Group recently took delivery of its third LTM 11200-9.1 and visited the Liebherr plant in Ehingen to collect it.
