Four Liebherr luffing jib cranes helping to build the future landmark of Azerbaijan

Four Liebherr luffing jib cranes are currently operating in Baku (Azerbaijan). Since the beginning of 2015 an architectural landmark has been under construction in the capital of Azerbaijan, the urban development project known as "The Crescent Bay".

Liebherr 1000 EC-B 125 Litronic tower crane used for the first time to erect a wind turbine with a hub height of 149m

A Liebherr tower crane recently erected a wind turbine at an altitude of around 800m in the Prechtaler Schanze Wind Farm in the Black Forest. The 1000 EC-B with its extremely low footprint erected for the first time a wind turbine with a hub height of 149m on the hills between the towns of Gutach and Mühlenbach. The tower crane had never before been assembled to such a height for wind turbine manufacturer ENERCON – both with and without guying to the wind turbine tower.

At the CTT Moscow 2016, Liebherr displays Construction Machines for the Russian Market

The Liebherr Group is present at the CTT Moscow, the international trade fair for construction machinery and technology, from 31 May to 4 June 2016 with a 2,700m² open air exhibition stand (Stand E-2).

The Liebherr Group presents a selection of its varied range of cranes at the CTT Moscow. While the LTR 1100 telescopic crawler crane with its variable boom system is predestined for the assembly of finished parts, the modular 150 EC-B 8 Litronic flat-top crane can be modified for a broad range of construction site requirements. Visitors to the exhibition are also able to test the crane simulator for construction cranes, which is a permanent item in Liebherr's crane driver training program.

Liebherr shows the modified 43 R4 XXT truck-mounted concrete pump at the CTT 2016. The four-section distributor boom is extremely stable and torsionally rigid, permitting maximum flexibility and a large working range of the distributor boom with narrow outrigging.

From 11 to 17 April Liebherr was represented at Bauma 2016 with over 100 products, an outdoor exhibition stand, a stand for the components division in Hall A4 and a career stand in Hall B0. During the trade fair week, the Group invited visitors to take part in several activities under the motto “Be Part of Something Bigger”, and thus become part of this top-class event.

LiSIM – Simulators for Liebherr construction machines: training under even more realistic conditions

At Bauma 2016 Liebherr presents its enhanced LiSIM concept. With these simulators it is possible to drive tower cranes, duty cycle crawler cranes, crawler cranes up to 300 tonnes and deep foundation machines in a virtual environment under even more realistic conditions. Ambient conditions such as wind, fog and rain, as well as different times of the day and night, are simulated and trained in a realistic manner. This increases the safety and productivity in real operation.

On the website set up for Bauma 2016 www.liebherr-bauma.com, Liebherr now presents the first exhibits from the areas of construction machinery, mining and components.

The tension grows: Liebherr will be unveiling its new L1-24 hydraulic fast-erecting crane at over 40 of its sales partners' sites simultaneously on 11 March 2016.

Liebherr erects tower crane at an altitude of 225 metres

A Liebherr tower crane was erected on Baden-Württemberg's tallest building, the elevator test tower in Rottweil, with the aid of a 280 EC-H 12 Litronic. The 280 EC-H 12 Litronic with a hook height of 265 metres will now be supported by an 85 EC-B 5 FR.tronic. Together the two Liebherr cranes will ensure excellent load handling on the site.

At the 2016 Bauma trade fair from April 11 - 17, the Liebherr Group is showcasing many new and further developed products from every area of its extensive range of construction machines, mobile and crawler cranes, material handling technology, mining, as well as components, on a total display area of more than 14,000m².

In New York City, the new Liebherr Luffing Crane 710 HC-L starts with its job

The first Liebherr luffing crane 710 HC-L 32/64 Litronic has recently been erected on the MoMA Tower jobsite in New York City (USA) and just started its work. Together with a second 710 HC L, that will be delivered mid 2016, the two tower cranes help to build the 76 story building in Midtown Manhattan. With a height of 320m (1,050ft), the skyscraper will be one of the highest buildings in the city. Both cranes are leased from the North American Liebherr dealer Morrow to the contractor Sorbara Construction, Lynbrook, New York.

Liebherr 85 EC-B 5i Flat-Top Crane at Excon 2015

At Excon 2015 in Bengaluru, Liebherr is presenting the 85 EC-B 5i Flat-Top crane. This crane model is being assembled at Liebherr's Pune plant since 2012. The 85 EC B 5i has the potential to exceed the 71 EC-B, currently Liebherr's most popular model in India, which offers widely similar specifications. The 85 EC-B 5i has a maximum load capacity of 5,000kg and can lift 1,300kg at the jib end, up to a maximum working radius of 50m.
