Liebherr to show its new LTM 1300-6.2 six-axle Mobile Crane at the 2014 Conexpo

Liebherr will be showing its new 300 tonne (360 US-tons) mobile crane on a six-axle chassis at the Conexpo Con/Agg 2014. The LTM 1300-6.2 was unveiled at the Bauma 2013 and replaces the 250-tonne (300 US-tons) LTM 1250-6.1. Its 78 m (256 ft) telescopic boom means that this new six-axle mobile crane offers an additional 6 m (20 ft) in length over its predecessor. In addition its load capacity has been increased dramatically. The new LTM 1300-6.2 from Liebherr is the most powerful mobile crane in the 300 tonne (360 US-tons) class available on the market.

Liebherr to unveil its new LTM 1160-5.2 five-axle Mobile Crane at the Conexpo 2014

Liebherr will be unveiling a new 160-tonne (190 US-ton) mobile crane on a five-axle chassis, the successor to the LTM 1160-5.1, at the Conexpo Con/Agg 2014 in Las Vegas, USA. The load capacity of the new LTM 1160-5.2 has been increased by around 20-25% compared to its predecessor whilst the telescopic boom has remained at the same length of 62 m (203 ft). The vehicle width has been reduced from 3 m to 2.75 m (9’10’’ to 9’) which means that not only it is easier to drive on public roads but also considerably better on constricted sites. The superstructure of the new LTM 1160-5.2 is powered by the engine in the crane chassis using a mechanical shaft. This makes the new 5-axle vehicle the second crane model to feature the innovative single-engine drive concept which Liebherr first presented at the Bauma 2013 for the LTM 1300-6.2.

Liebherr brings the new 1,000 tonne (1,200 US-tons) LR 11000 Crawler Crane to Conexpo Con/Agg 2014

Conexpo Con/Agg 2014 in Las Vegas (USA) is the first occasion where Liebherr brings the new 1,000 tonnes (1,200 US-tons) crawler crane to the US. To supplement the crawler crane range between the LR 1750 and the LR 11350 Liebherr unveiled the new LR 11000 at the 2013 Bauma in Munich, Germany.

Liebherr presents its first Simulator for Operator Training on Deep Foundation Equipment at Conexpo 2014

Based on original machine software and hardware it increases both productivity and safety by providing a cost-effective and highly efficient operator training solution.

The 380 EC-B Flat-Top crane: A new dimension in efficiency and safety

Liebherr will be unveiling the 380 EC-B 16 Litronic Flat-Top crane at Conexpo Con/Agg 2014. With a maximum radius of 246 ft (75 m) this model has a lifting capacity at the tip of 7,500 lbs (3,400 kg). The 380 EC-B can be supplied in a 12-tonne or 16-tonne version.

At Conexpo Con/Agg 2014 in Las Vegas (USA), Liebherr is displaying its LB 44 rotary drilling rig. This latest development of the company’s deep foundation products expands the LB series at the upper end of the scale. With its many years of experience and extensive know-how in special deep foundation, Liebherr is thus reacting to the need for larger, more powerful machines, taking the toughest demands now placed on rotary drilling rigs into account.

Conexpo Con/Agg 2014: New Generation of Liebherr Midsize and Large Wheel Loaders

New Liebherr Crawler Concrete Pump at the Conexpo Con/Agg 2014

In Las Vegas (USA) the crawler concrete pump THS 110 D-K with a concrete output of 102 m³/h (133 yd³/h) and equipped with a six-cylinder engine, will be unveiled by Liebherr. The series of Liebherr crawler concrete pumps encompasses three different models - the THS 80 D-K, the THS 110 D-K and the THS 140 D-K providing max. concrete outputs of 65 m³/h (85 yd³/h) to 135 m³/h (177 yd³/h).

Innovative SCRonly concept by Liebherr for Diesel Engines of Tier 4 final: compact modules with high efficiency

Liebherr offers diesel engines to comply with Tier 4 final / stage IV without a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC), while showing excellent operating values, reasonable costs for exhaust gas aftertreatment and extremely reduced complexity of the engines. Das neu bei Liebherr-Aerospace Singapur eingeführte Umweltsystem für die Wartung, Reparatur und Überholung von Flugzeugkomponenten wurde kürzlich vom TÜV SÜD PSB Pte. Ltd., Singapur gemäß DIN EN ISO 14001:2004 zertifiziert. In den Monaten zuvor hatte die Prüfstelle alle notwendigen Audits der Prozesse und Verfahren des Unternehmens durchgeführt, um nachzuweisen, dass diese den Anforderungen des weltweiten Standards gerecht werden.

Sechs Autobetonpumpen für den größten Betonpumpenbetreiber in Großbritannien

Ende Januar hat die Liebherr-Betonpumpen GmbH aus Neu-Ulm einen Auftrag von der Professional Concrete Pumping Ltd. (PCP) mit Hauptsitz in Tamworth, Großbritannien über sechs Liebherr- Autobetonpumpen erhalten. Diese Bestellung ist der größte Einzelkundenauftrag für die Liebherr-Betonpumpen GmbH seit der Übernahme des Betonpumpenherstellers Waitzinger im Oktober 2012.
