Facelift: The new Liebherr 172 EC-B 8 Litronic Flat-Top Crane
Liebherr has given its successful 160 EC-B Flat-Top crane a facelift and will unveil its successor, the 172 EC B 8 Litronic, to the trade public for the first time at the Intermat 2015. The crane's lifting capacity has been increased to provide users with increased performance. The crane's erection process has also been simplified even further.

Liebherr 85 EC-B 5i Flat-Top Crane at the 2014 bC India
At the 2014 bC India in Greater Noida, Liebherr is presenting the 85 EC-B 5i Flat-Top Crane. This crane model is being assembled at Liebherr's Pune plant since 2012. The 85 EC-B 5i has a maximum load capacity of 5,000 kg and can lift 1,300 kg at the jib end, up to a maximum working radius of 50 m.

Four Liebherr tower cranes building the tallest building in the world in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
The very first building over 1,000 metres in height – the Kingdom Tower in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Liebherr was awarded the order to supply four HC-L series tower cranes for the project. Current plans call for three 280 HC-L luffing jib cranes and one 357 HC-L model to be used. The experts at Liebherr Tower Crane Solutions are providing support to the contractor to ensure economical crane planning.

First trial - Liebherr 1000 EC-B 125 Litronic Flat-Top crane erects wind turbine
The new 1000 EC-B 125 Litronic was recently used to erect an Enercon wind turbine in Wardenburg in the Rural District of Oldenburg. With a lifting capacity of 125 tonnes, this Flat-Top crane is the largest crane in the Liebherr Tower Cranes Division product range. First unveiled at the Bauma 2013, the largest trade fair for construction machinery in the world, the crane attracted a great deal of interest.

Two Liebherr 200 EC-H 10 FR.tronic Tower Cranes Used in a Shipbuilding Yard in India
Liebherr-Werk Biberach GmbH delivered two cranes for permanent use in a Lavgan Dockyard in India. The two 200 EC-H 10 FR.tronic top-slewing cranes will be used permanently in the ship repair yard operated by Lavgan Dockyard Ltd. near Ratnagiri in the Indian state of Maharashtra.

Liebherr-Werk Biberach GmbH has managed to win several orders in Australia and New Zealand. During the last few weeks four luffing jib cranes from the HC-L series and a top-slewing crane from the EC-H series have left Liebherr-Werk Biberach GmbH for the voyage down under.

Since its successful launch of the 1000 EC-H at the Bauma 2013 in Munich, the largest standard crane in the EC-H series has been proving its worth in prestigious projects around the world. Liebherr at the NordBau 2014 trade fair
At the construction machine trade fair, NordBau 2014, in Neumünster (Germany), which runs from 10th to 14th September, the Liebherr Group will have a total of 15 construction machines on show from the latest range. At a large open air stand (Nord N143), measuring 800 m², Liebherr offers trade visitors a cross section from its range of earthmoving and material handling equipment. Two Liebherr dealers are also presenting Liebherr tower cranes and truck mixers at their stands.

Over 40 Liebherr tower cranes from the EC-B and EC-H crane systems are being used for the first phase of the “aspern+ Vienna’s Urban Lakeside” construction project in Austria. The modular design of this crane series means that each crane can be optimally configured to fit the construction project’s requirements. The modular undercarriages, tower elements, adaptor sections, jib sections and drive units can be used in different combinations.
