For the fleet of the future: The Erectors buy their first LTM 1300-6.3

Crane rental company The Erectors Hoisting and Rigging Inc. has added the new LTM 1300-6.3 to its fleet. This is a mobile crane that has the longest boom in its class and can be carried at 12 tonnes axle load. In future, it will be used for erecting and dismantling tower cranes and as a taxi crane in crane rental.

Numéro d'usine 2520 : derrière ces quatre chiffres se cache l'histoire d'une grue Liebherr qui a fêté son 70ème anniversaire début juillet. Le modèle appelé « Form 6 » a été livré en Suisse en 1953 et a trouvé son chemin en 2003 jusqu’à chez Liebherr-Baumaschinen AG à Reiden, dans le canton de Lucerne.

Liebherr présente à la foire forestière de Lucerne 2023 des machines spéciales et des solutions pour l'industrie du bois et la sylviculture

Flange laying of LS 800 E: Project Orca sets sail for a sustainable future

Together with Liebherr, SAL Heavy Lift, a leading provider of forward-looking and sustainable vessel solutions, celebrated a significant milestone. The flange laying ceremony of the new all-electric heavy lift crane, LS 800 E took place in Rostock and welcomed esteemed guest SAL Heavy Lift, marking the go-ahead for the production of the first of a number of groundbreaking all-electric heavy lift ship cranes.

Liebherr at steinexpo 2023: Alternative drives and digitalisation in the quarrying industry

Liebherr will be represented at steinexpo 2023 from 23 to 26 August 2023 with over ten machines from its earthmoving and mining product segments. In addition to the products on static display and presented in live shows, the main focus of Liebherr's presence will also be on alternative drives and the latest developments in the field of digitalisation. Several crawler excavators, an articulated dump truck, the largest Liebherr wheel loader as well as another wheel loader model, dozers and a mining excavator will be on display on Liebherr's main booth, which covers around 1,200 m2.

Climate- and environment-friendly construction: design, materials, and energy supply

In Bodnegg, two residential buildings are currently being built in timber construction, which are largely prefabricated and produced with regional materials and energy from photovoltaic systems. The construction site is supplied with green energy via the Liduro Power Port mobile energy storage system.

Middle River Marine celebrates the delivery of Liebherr’s LH 110 material handler

Illinois based company, Middle River Marine (MRM), acquired a newly assembled LH 110 material handler to be stationed at an MRM terminal based in the South Chicago region. To commermorate this delivery, MRM hosted an on-site event recognizing stakeholders, partners, and dealers and showcased various Liebherr machines from the MRM fleet.

ZHD Stevedores orders first all-electric CBG 500 E

The CBG 500 E crane combines state-of-the-art drive technologies with Liebherr’s in-house developed crane control system “Master V.” Another highlight is the energy recovery system LiCaTronic, which makes best possible utilisation of the available energy (source). The crabe supports a lot of tailor-made features that have been developed in close cooperation with ZHD to best suit to the demands of the operation fields to serve.

Grúas Alhambra takes delivery of first Liebherr LTM 1300-6.3 mobile crane on the Iberian Peninsula

With the procurement of the Liebherr LTM 1300-6.3 mobile crane, the Spanish crane company Grúas Alhambra is becoming a pioneer: It takes over the first unit of this new type on the Iberian Peninsula. The innovative all-terrain crane with a 90-metre telescopic boom is ideal for the company’s current needs, as it was looking for a crane with greater lifting capacity and height. Grúas Alhambra will use the LTM 1300-6.3 for refinery work, wind turbine maintenance and many other applications thanks to its versatility.
