Liebherr Board offshore cranes equip floating production unit of HD Hyundai Heavy Industries

South Korean company HD Hyundai Heavy Industries will build and equip a floating production unit (FPU) with two Board offshore cranes, BOS 4200, manufactured by Liebherr. The FPU is currently under construction for an offshore project in Mexico. The BOS crane series known for its reliability since 1975 is ideal for high lifting capacities at medium or high outreaches.

Nordbau 2025: Liebherr presents construction machines for a wide range of applications

From 10 to 14 September 2025, Liebherr is exhibiting three construction machines at the Nordbau trade fair at the Holstenhallen Congress Centre in Neumünster. At booth N 224 in the northern outdoor area, the Group will be exhibiting products from the deep foundation and earthmoving product segments. Liebherr-Australia contributes AU$50,000 to support breast cancer research

Members of Liebherr-Australia’s executive team travelled to Hancock Iron Ore’s Roy Hill mine in Western Australia to unveil a cheque for AU$50,000. These funds were donated to Australia’s National Breast Cancer Foundation and were based on the performance of an R 9800 at Roy Hill mine in the month of June.

Overhead crane renewal at Liebherr: Schmidbauer strong with Rieger & Moser as a team

Back at the birthplace in Ehingen: A Liebherr LTC 1045-3.1 compact crane travelled from the Schmidbauer branch in Memmingen, while Rieger & Moser − part of the Schmidbauer Group − sent an LTM 1110-5.1 and an LTM 1130-5.1 from Ulm. The task of the three mobile cranes was to dismantle five ageing overhead cranes at the Liebherr plant and replace them with five new ones.

Liebherr supplies CO2 air-conditioning systems to Siemens Mobility

Liebherr has reached a major milestone towards more sustainable mobility in Europe: The company supplies heating, ventilation and air- conditioning systems that use the natural refrigerant R744 (CO2). The HVAC system is one of the first solutions of its kind in mainline passenger transportation to be used in regular operations in Europe. The systems with a low ecological footprint will be supplied to Siemens Mobility during the next three years.
