Liebherr-Aerospace félicite Boeing pour la réussite du premier vol du nouvel avion 777X. Liebherr-Aerospace a été sélectionné pour founir le système de repli des extrémités d’ailes, le système de direction du train d’atterrissage principal ainsi que les actionneurs, le moteur hydraulique et l’unité de génération de puissance pour l’actionnement du bord d’attaque et du bord de fuite de l’avion. La conception et le développement des actionneurs de bord de fuite incombent à Boeing. Liebherr-Aerospace est charge de la conception et de la fabrication des actionneurs de bord d’attaque.

Liebherr Container Cranes and Montreal Gateway Terminals Partnership (MGT) are pleased to announce the signing of a contract for the supply of four ship to shore (STS) container cranes to the Cast Container Terminal in Montreal, Canada. The cranes will be delivered in 2021.

Liebherr wheel loader at Samoter: Innovation Award and enhanced functionality for active personnel detection

Liebherr will be presenting a total of four wheel loaders at Samoter. This includes the 32,600 kg L 586 XPower®, the largest wheel loader in the group. A winner of the Samoter Innovation Award in the wheel loader category is installed at the rear of this exhibit: the active personnel detection from Liebherr. This assistance system increases safety during wheel loader operation by automatically warning on the display and using acoustic signals of dangers in the rear area. A special feature of this system is that it independently differentiates between people and objects. At the end of 2020, Liebherr is expanding the active personnel detection to include a brake assistant with supportive braking function. In addition to the warning signals in the cab, it also helps the machine operator to prevent collisions or accidents.

Elle vient remplacer une LTC 1045-3.1, que l’entreprise avait acquise en 2011, en vue de compléter son parc pour les travaux dans des conditions d’intervention particulièrement exiguës.

A new flagship – Wille supplements its fleet with a Liebherr LTM 1450 8.1 mobile crane

North Germany-based crane and heavy haulage contractor Wille Krane GmbH has expanded its fleet with a Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 mobile crane. The new 450-tonne crane will replace an LTM 1350-6.1 and is now the largest crane in the company's fleet. The 85 metre telescopic boom, fast set-up and high flexibility in use were major criteria behind the decision to purchase the Liebherr mobile crane.

When its all about height – Albrecht Autokran purchases LTM 1060-3.1

The main selling points were lifting capacity, range and manoeuvrability – Albrecht Autokran GbR based in Etting, Bavaria, has decided to buy a Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 mobile crane. Its 48 metre telescopic boom enables the crane to be more economical for jobs requiring great hoist heights.

On the 1st of January 2020, Liebherr-Baumaschinen Vertriebs- und Service GmbH and Liebherr-Mietpartner GmbH will acquire the earthmoving machinery and equipment rental business activities of Libero.
