Family outing: Four Liebherr K series cranes support bridge construction project

Great teamwork by four Liebherr K series tower cranes in the centre of the Emsland region in North West Germany: two 81 K.1 and two 53 K cranes are currently being used for concrete work and formwork transport purposes during the construction of a bridge measuring over 200 metres in length.

Closing the gap – Schlamann takes delivery of Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 mobile crane

Schlamann-Autokrane GmbH has taken delivery of a new Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 mobile crane. The northern German crane contractor based at Marklohe near Nienburg will use the 60 tonne crane to replace an LTM 1045-3.1 and upgrade its fleet in the class between 50 and 90 tonnes.

Après une fabrication d’environ 1 500 unités, Liebherr présente le modèle qui succède à la grue LTM 1130-5.1 : la LTM 1150-5.3. Avec une capacité de charge maximale de 150 tonnes et une flèche télescopique de 66 mètres de long, ce modèle complète de façon optimale la gamme de grues Liebherr en se plaçant juste derrière la LTM 1160-5.2 et sa capacité de charge de 180 tonnes. Sa flèche télescopique 10 % plus longue que le modèle précédent soulève des charges en moyenne 15 % plus importantes avec un contrepoids maximal ou partiel. La performance des ingénieurs de Liebherr est ici remarquable : ils ont réussi à conserver le poids total particulièrement faible du modèle précédent. La grue peut transporter neuf tonnes de contrepoids sur la voie publique, en respectant la charge par essieu de douze tonnes.

Sommer Kranverleih GmbH based in Bremen has upgraded its fleet – the 800 tonne LTM 1750-9.1 mobile crane is now the company’s flagship. The Liebherr 9-axle crane is now supplied as standard with new lifting capacity values which upgrade the crane almost throughout its entire operating range. The performance of the LTM 1750-9.1 has been significantly upgraded particularly for wind power jobs.

The fourth generation of the owner family of crane and heavy haulage contractor Wiesbauer GmbH made their first trip to the Liebherr plant in Ehingen to take delivery of a crane. This traditional family-run company based in Bietigheim-Bissingen (Baden-Württemberg) has significantly upgraded its crane fleet. Not only did the Swabian company take delivery of another LTM 1750-9.1 mobile crane, but an LTR 1220 telescopic crawler crane and a new 1000 tonne crawler crane were also added to its fleet. This LR 11000 celebrated a fantastic premiere in summer by hoisting a bridge to the north-east of Stuttgart.

Celle-ci, avec sa cabine sans volant et sa nouvelle direction par manipulateur, a enthousiasmé une foule de visiteurs au salon d’exposition de machines le plus important du monde. Après une phase chez Liebherr à des fins internes suite au salon, la machine de 33 tonnes est à présent exploitée au centre de recyclage de Meyer Recycling GmbH.
