Liebherr Mobile Mixing Plants

Many projects need mixing plants on a jobsite and are controlled by the required concrete volume, productivity, and quality control.

When the mixing plant is located directly on the jobsite it makes the transportation route shorter, resulting in time and costs savings. Contractors can use dumper vehicles that have more capacity to transport a larger amount of concrete and avoid public roads that have weight capacity regulations.

Liebherr's mobile mixing plant portfolio is very flexible, offering solutions according to our customer's needs. Some advantages of Liebherr mobile mixing plants include:

The compact Mobilmix 0.5-C is equipped with a ring pan mixer, skip hoist feeding system, and a reliable automation system, BCS, which ensures the operation and consistency of concrete recipes. It can also be equipped with reliable FMS moisture system control.

Although it is the smallest mixing plant in the Mobilmix range, it is flexible and operates in two containers, making transportation simple.

The next solution with an output of 1.31 yd³ (1.0 m³) is the newest LCM 1.0. Launched during BAUMA 2019 for emerging markets, it soon became a success due to its simplicity in assemblage and operation. It can also be equipped with the Liebherr FMS Moisture control system.

As you can see, these plants do not need much space on the jobsite making this product ideal for minimal space requirements. With Liebherr mobile mixing plants, it is simple to produce high-quality concrete in remote areas.

The Mobilmix 2.5 – F offers all the advantages of a stationary system because of its proven folding mechanism with pre-assembled and integrated components.

Moving this plant can be done effortlessly with fewer units to be transported. This allows for faster and more efficient assembly from the quality inspection of the factory to the test run in advance of the installation. As this plant has the automation system Litronic MPS-III, like our stationary plants, the operation is remarkably similar. It can also be freely configured in a range of levels to meet the customer's requirements.

This model comes with the twin-shaft mixer model DW 2.5 and can reach 150 yd³/h (115 m³/h). There is also minimal cleaning effort involved with safety when our customers get the special locking system.

Liebherr also has the model Mobilmix 2.5 – C with the advantage of a static mixing plant with maximum mobility. The robust container modules are fully wired and form the enclosure for the plant; as a result, this model is perfectly suited for winter operation. With major construction projects, like airports, bridges, roads, or tunnels, it is possible to operate two plants as a double plant with an output of 300 yd³/h (230 m³/h).

The next model is the flexible and powerful Mobilmix 3.5-C. This plant is particularly well suited for international transportation, by virtue of the plug-and-play ISO container design, and can be easily and quickly transported by ship or by highways to diverse construction sites. As a double plant, Mobilmix 3.5 – C can produce 392 yd³/h (300 m³/h). It is therefore capable of supplying concrete for huge construction sites with ease.

The newest member of the mobile plant family for emerging markets is the LCM 3.0. Following the features of other plants, it is easy to transport, erect, and it has a conveyor belt that feeds the hopper in the weighting platform. This configuration allows the plant to reach up to 225 yd³/h (171 m³/h) in 20 seconds of mixing time. It can be constructed in several configurations, including the ability to change the arrangement of aggregate bins and the inclination of the transportation belt.

The configuration of aggregates bin ensures bigger outputs with the pre-aggregate silo over the conveyor belt. It has an intelligent and comfortable control system that is intuitive for an effortless operation. It also offers easy order processing and master data input due to a modern menu overview. Similar to other Liebherr plants, it has high dosing precision and material savings with the option of coarse and fine dosing.
