The DW gearboxes were designed to have high efficiency (approx. 96% while conventional gearboxes offer approx. 85%), and optimum energy input into the mixing material in order to achieve the best mixing results within shortest times.
An optional feature is a high-pressure cleaning system for fast and easy maintenance, making the cleaning time shorter allowing upkeep during the day.
In regards to mixing quality, the Liebherr twin-shaft mixers have the mixing arms at a 60° arrangement offering a main zone region between the mixing shafts, which results in the best quality within the shortest time possible.
The large cover offers an easy and safe maintenance operation, maintenance can be conducted comfortably inside the mixer. The covers safety sensor isolates the mixer when opened and there is an option to add a safety switch in the mixing platform.

An efficient powertrain with a Liebherr planetary gearbox. It has maximum energy input into the mixing material achieving the best mixing results within the shortest times.
With an ideal speed for mixing tools for best homogeneity in the shortest time, the intertwining mixing arms are arranged at 60° for the maximum strength during mixing.
Designed for high loads, it is very resistant, offering a long lifespan and longer replacement intervals of the wear tiles. This results in a reduction of maintenance work.
The hydraulic mixer gate is equipped with an additional oil pump for cooling the gearbox rinse, and an extra manual pump in case of power loss when the mixer is filled to avoid disassembly of the hydraulic system.
Labyrinth sealing in separated design.
Central grease unit with Liebherr special grease (CTK) and automatic discharge controlling. It provides ideal sealing (labyrinth sealing) and maximum protection of wear parts (bearing). Furthermore, having permanent lubrication in short cycles will increase the life cycle and reduce the maintenance of the mixer.
For safety it has control of the keyless locking system affixed in the on-site operation. Due to the large opening, maintenance can be conducted comfortably inside the mixer, it saves time and costs by reduction of the service works.
