As the divisional control company, Liebherr-Component Technologies AG in Bulle (Switzerland) coordinates all activities of the Liebherr Group's Components Division. The division specialises in the development, design, production and reconditioning of high-performance components for mechanical, hydraulic and electrical drive and control technology.
Varied product range
The comprehensive range of components includes combustion engines, injection systems, axial piston pumps and motors, hydraulic cylinders, slewing bearings, gearboxes and rope winches, electric machines, control technology and electronics and software. The high-quality components are used in cranes and earthmoving equipment, in the mining industry, in maritime applications, decentralised energy systems, wind turbines, agriculture and forestry, stationary applications, vehicle technology railway and aviation. Synergy effects from the other product divisions of the Liebherr Group are used to promote continuous improvements in technology.
The high production depth and the use of modern flexible production plants enable Liebherr to provide its customers with individual solutions. Every component is designed according to the customers' requests and requirements - from the product idea, development, manufacturing and commissioning through to series production. Liebherr also offers reconditioning of the mechanical and hydraulic components of the drivetrain in different stages (Reman).
Production plants and sales all over the world
Liebherr develops and produces components on ten sites worldwide. They are located in Biberach an der Riss, Deggendorf, Ettlingen, Kirchdorf an der Iller and Lindau (all Germany), as well as in Bulle (Switzerland), Colmar (France), Dalian (P.R. China), Monterrey (Mexico) and Guaratinguetá (Brazil). Liebherr-Components AG with its head office in Nussbaumen (Switzerland) is responsible for the worldwide sales and service of these products for customers outside the Liebherr Group. Local sales branches, commercial agencies and retailers support these activities.
