The Liebherr 4-cylinder in-line D964 engine has a displacement of 9 liters. The engine is available in two versions: the HP version with less torque can achieve a power output of 300kW and the HT version generates a maximum peak torque of 1,965 Nm at 1100 rpm. Developed as a heavy-duty engine, it is ideally suited for use in off-highway applications with frequent load and engine speed variations. This four-cylinder engine comes with an integrated centrifugal water pump and closed crankcase ventilation system, ultrafine fiber oil filter, fuel fine filter on engine as well as twin scroll turbocharger that considerably improve fuel consumption. The engine fulfils the demanding EU Stage V exhaust emission standards and can be fitted with Tier 4f solutions thanks to the modular exhaust gas after treatment system concept. Our engine condition monitoring solution and LiDIA diagnostic tool, together with a long-life service further extend reliability and minimise engine down time.
the engine is available in two configurations: with high torque and high-power values
thanks to a single-stage turbocharger
thanks to an automatic poly-V-belt tensioner
