Liebherr Seals Its Participation in Clean Sky 2

Three Liebherr companies have confirmed their participation in the Clean Sky 2 Joint Technology Initiative (JTI): While Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH, Lindenberg (Germany), one of the founding members of Clean Sky 2, has recently signed the Grant Agreement Papers, Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS, Toulouse (France) and Liebherr-Elektronik GmbH, Lindau (Germany) have joined the consortium as affiliates. Maxikraft handles heavyweight goods in Dresden's Alberthafen dock with two large Liebherr mobile cranes

Crane and heavy load logistics contractor Maxikraft used two large Liebherr mobile cranes in July to load two condensers and a turbine from low loaders into ships in Dresden's Alberthafen dock. The challenge was that the giant components had to be moved in tandem hoists between the LTM 1500-8.1 and the LTM 1750-9.1 before they could be lowered into the dock basin. Find out more

The erection of the 150 EC-B 6 Litronic Flat-Top crane from Liebherr on Germany's highest peak, the Zugspitze, went perfectly. Air Cycle Technology: Liebherr Starts 100% “Green” HVAC System Trial with SNCF

Liebherr-Transportation Systems has developed an air cycle technology demonstrator which is currently being installed in one of the regional trains operated by French Public Railways Operator SNCF, financed by the Région Midi-Pyrénées (Southern France). This demonstrator will be tested within the frame of SNCF’s “Eco-Clim” (“Green HVAC”) research program aimed at defining tomorrow’s green train air conditioning systems. Find out more
