News | 02/02/2024 Liebherr on board the Airbus Helicopter H145M

Airbus Helicopters and the German Armed Forces recently signed a purchase agreement for up to 82 H145M helicopters (62 firm orders and 20 options). Liebherr-Aerospace in Lindenberg (Germany) has developed, manufactures and services the main rotor servo controls and the valveblock reservoir as part of the hydraulic power supply. Moreover, gears for the power transmission gearboxes and the tail gearbox are manufactured as build to print for the multirole helicopter. The technology supplied by the equipment manufacturer enables the operator to fly with high precision and to keep control even in critical conditions.

The contract is the largest order for the H145M to date – which also affects the area of customer service. Liebherr-Aerospace will also be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of its components and equipment as well as for the provision of spare parts for the twin-engine helicopter.
